  1. Oh the lessons learned......

    That yummy pizza and wine I had Friday....SO NOT WORTH IT! I am still one pound over what I weighed in at on Friday morning. The good news is that I only have one pound to go. Maybe then I can feel like I am back on track and this journey may be worth the agony. I bought an appetite suppressant yesterday. I am not sure if this is "approved protocol" and honestly I dont care. I started taking them yesterday and they helped with the hunger pains.

  2. Self sabotaged

    I bow to all of you hcgers out there who can actually do this. I am not sure I can. I am hungry, all of the time. Not “my head” telling me I am hungry but real hunger pains that I have tried to ignore. Did I not load right? Maybe, although I seriously tried and ate the right fatty, high calorie foods. Are my hcg drops not legit? Maybe, but I ordered from a site/company where others had success. If these drops are suppose to help curb hunger, mine have not done that.   3. VLCD5 loss of 1 and I am crabby

    I am crabby today! I miss my Dunkin Donuts coffee blend, regular and vanilla beans, with creamer and Splenda! I added a splash of non fat milk to my coffee with Stevia today. Little better but not enough to make me drink more than one cup.

  4. So I am thinking...does anyone know or have you tried....

    I am drinking all of my water and I drink one cup of coffee in am, one green tea in afternoon and Smooth Tea at night. As much as I am in the potty, I think I am retaining water. Which leads me to believe I might want to cut out Mrs. Dash. I use Mrs. Dash to season my chix that I stir fry at night for dinner. Anybody else use salt or salt like seasonings and have a problem? Because normally I never use salt. I never cook with it and I never use it on my food. EVER. Thinking adding this to my diet ...

  5. Beginning of VLCD4...so after 3 full days the scale said....

    Down 1.6 pounds. That is a total loss of 5.4 pounds. I should be excited but for some reason I am disappointed. I think after reading many stories of others, before I started this, I think I thought I would lose as dramatically as those other folks. BUT I tell myself that down is good! I am not going up and am not staying the same. I tell myself I am executing this plan, for life, and that if I were lucky enough stay on this course, I could be down 20 pounds in under a month.   6. UGH so sad....

    Today is day 3 for me on my R1P2VLCD. I only lost 1.4 pounds this morning. So in total I have lost 3.8 pounds. I am very disappointed to say the least. It seems like everyone else pulls much bigger numbers in the beginning. AND I am starving. Seriously hungry. My tummy growls at me all of the time. I am drinking my water - all if it and have stuck to the food plan.

  8. Made it through VLCD1!

    Good Morning! And it is a good morning. Not only because the scale reflected a lower number back at me but because I actually am doing this! Made it through 2 gross days of gorging and one day of vlcd! I must admit, I was hungry. Not all day, but much of the day. Guessing some of that is purely my head trying to get in my way.   9. Only gained 1pd gorging! Today is day one of VLCD

    Happy Monday! Seriously I couldnt wait for it to be Monday and begin this journey! Sat and Sun were load days. AND I ate til I couldnt eat anymore. I am worried however, I only gained 1 pound total! I ate burgers, fries, breakfast sandwiches, bernaise sauce, bread & butter and on and on. Regardless of what the scale says, I know I loaded correctly. My husband on the other hand, gained 5 pounds!
    So here I am today, ready to execute this protocol!

  10. Loading - fun? NOT so much

    Yesterday was day one of loading, today is day two. I will begin my vlcd tomorrow and I have never wanted a Monday to come sooooo fast! The thought of eating fatty, rich foods again today is making me almost ill! But I will gorge again today because everything I have read says it really does contribute to better success.
