P2 Day 26

Rate this Entry
Only down .2 lbs today. Still not feeling well and on bed rest. I have next to no appetite and I am having to force myself to eat and drink to meet my calorie intake. I'm not even sure I met it yesterday. I don't think I did. I have a new pet, and bed rest is hard when I'm making sure she's not using the potty inside instead of outside. Its amusing watching my cat react to a dachshund though. I no longer have a before photo, since my husband erased it before I got to upload it to my computer. This makes me sad but as much as I've lost, I dont see much in the way of physical change yet. My pants and things still fit the same. Or at least I think they do. I'll try to take a picture when I'm feeling better and use that for further comparison.

You'll see the change, sometimes u don't see as much until u are in p3. Not that many people said much to me about my losses on the first round. But later, into p3, and the 2nd, a lot did. U know, and it will show up in your clothes a little soon. Almost 20 lbs. is a great loss!

I have a dachshund! Arent they wonderful? Her name is Abby and she is 2 years old. She is the sweetest thing ever! Good luck potty training. I know its hard now because its so cold.

I hope that you feel better soon!

I adopted a full grown one, the first one I've owned. Her name is Edyth, I never got a clear answer on her age but I think she's between 3-4 years old. She was well taken care of health wise, but they didn't play with her a whole lot even though she was socialized with her siblings and with a variety of people. She is the sweetest most docile one of the bunch but leash training her after she's had no training is difficult at moments but she's mostly taken to it in less than a day. She just loves to sit on my lap and cuddle me, she follows me all over the apartment.
    Thanks for the well wishes

I know what you mean about following you around. Mine is like my shadow. I work from home and she sits on my lap at the computer and sleeps with her back to my back at night. They really are great dogs. Mine is spoiled rotten. My mom even has a photo album that she carries of her "granddogter"
lol I dont know if you have one but a harness is so much easier on the leash to get them to walk with. We have an invisible fence so she isnt leashed at the house but when we go out she does really well with the harness and leash. I guess it helps because they are so long!
