  2. Maintaining Nicely

    I am almost 4 weeks into P3 and I've been maintaining nicely - considering I haven't been totally a good girl. I'm still within my 2 lb window. I'm tired of being this weight though...I'm anxious to start R2 so I can get the rest of this weight off and get to my goal. I'm sooo ready to go shopping for new clothes. Got my pinterest "my style" loaded with ideas!

  3. Happy New Year?

    I'm so glad this year is finally over. I hope and pray that this coming year is full of healthy surprises that make me happy! I found out that one of my dearest friends' breast cancer has gone to her brain now. Devastated. I keep trying to find stories of women who have beaten the odds - I find a few, but in my heart of hearts I feel like I just spent my last Christmas/New Years with her. I hate cancer with all my heart and soul. Another friends' father died of his cancer last week and I have ...

  4. STEAK DAY - Starving!!!

    I'm soooo sad I am having to do a steak day today, but know it's my own fault. I'm trying really, really hard not to get a snack...I am soooo HUNGRY!! It's only 10 am. I've drank four 16 ounce bottles of water...how am I going to get all the way to dinner without eating? OMG!!! I'm debating if it's worth it just to stabilize at my current weight instead of trying to do this...but I KNOW I will regret that, too. I miss my phase 2! lol Sooo much easier.

  5. Phase 3, Week 1

    LIW - 152.8
    One week later - 152.6 Nice stabilizing the first week, but I have not been able to hit even 1000 calories in one day yet. Not sure what next week will bring. I'll be off work and accessing foods will be way easier. These 10 hour days I work - getting up at 4 am - makes eating tough. I got my fruits in with an apple and orange each day and I've been eating half a Chipotle burrito bowl for lunch with avocados, black and pinto beans, lettuce, and pico de gallo. Tastes sooo yummy! ...

  6. Goodbye Phase 2!

    This is my last day of Phase 2. I'm excited - and scared at the same time. After gaining three pounds in one weekend when I went to Las Vegas I'm not sure how easy it's going to be increasing my food intake and not gaining weight. I'm almost scared to get on the scale every day now. I soooo don't want my weight to go up again. I am disappointed that I only lost 19 lbs in round 1, but still, I only have 19 more left to lose to get to my goal weight. I hate waiting six weeks to do that, but it ...

  7. It ain't much, but a pound is a pound!

    Finally dropped 1.2 lbs from 155! Geez! I have five injection days left...and we are leaving for Las Vegas on Friday morning. I booked a suite to make sure I would have a refrigerator for my food and my hCG. My biggest thing is that we are driving - do you have any idea how many times we're going to have to pull over so I can pee on the side of the road due to all the water I'm drinking every day? lmao! Maybe I should just get some Depends! lol Oh what fun! I am excited about not weighing ...

  8. :( Not going to make my goal.

    I'm kind of bummed out today. I really thought I was being realistic when I set a goal of 148 for my first round. The last two weeks have been excruciatingly slow. .2 lbs here, .4 lbs there. I only have about 8 days of injections left and I'm still at 155. No way I'm going to lose 7 lbs in those remaining days. Makes me sad. I really expected to lose 25 lbs. I'm not horribly disappointed in the 16, it's just way less than I anticipated. I'm not sure why it matters because I figured I would ...

    It is still going well on the hcg diet! Definitely happy to be seeing myself in the mirror 17 lbs. lighter. Hardest thing is not snacking on the cookies, etc. especially when there is so much floating around the office this time of the year.   10. Too Good to be True

    November 13, 2012

    162.4 this morning. I skipped dinner last night. We ended up with company and by the time they left it was just too late and I was soooo tired all I could think about was falling into my bed. I think I only got about 275 calories in for the whole day. Probably not good. But, a loss is a loss so I'm happy with that.

    I have 30 days to go. I've lost 10 lbs in this first 10 days - and actually, I can't believe how fast these days have gone by. Amazing! ...
