  1. Super Foods & More

    I've been having such a great weekend I'd thought I'd post here a few things.

    Came back from the local farmers market this am. I got half a flat of very sweet strawberries, some sweet cherries and a flat of fresh brown eggs amongst other things.

    It was so nice to walk around and be able to sample the fresh veggies and fruits. I am not missing p2, lol.

    This weekend the scale has been showing .8 over liw, but I suspect it's o time as it will be in a day ...

  2. Well this sucks

    The 1.2 I was down below ldw yesterday, I'm up exactly that today, which leaves me without that bugger and I havent even started eating yet! This worries me, I have one VLCD left, one day to get it right. The only thing I did differently yesterday to today was that I didn't have a glass of Cali Kicker, so today I'm going to completely replicate Friday to see what happens.

  3. Hip pain

    I think I know why my hips were aching so bad. No salt in my diet. For some reason I thought I couldn't salt my food. I read through Dr. Simeons' HCG manuscript last night and he said you can use salt in moderation. I added garlic salt to my shrimp this afternoon and the pain is gone! I was getting ready to take another dose of Advil and realized I didn't need to. I feel so much better than when I woke up this morning. So, I'll add a little salt every day to keep my electrolytes in balance.

  4. Sick of Food

    My daughter had such great results on this HCG thing that I had to give it a "shot". Actually, she gives me the shot every morning because I am deathly afraid of needles. No fun! But... it gets the best results. We shall see!

  5. Vlcd 43 176.6

    1 pound loss. Yesterday I ate a steakhouse burger from BK with no cheese or sauce of any kind and no bun. then I eat a Greek salad from mellow mushroom. I did eat some feta and olives and a couple of mushrooms, peppers, and only 2 times dipped my fork in the wonderful dressing. really totaled less then an 1/8 of a teaspoon of dressing. The family went to see THOR. I had no soda and no popcorn. when we got home I felt I needed some more protein so I broiled 3oz of steak.

    Ticker went slightly below 120....but I'm gonna say weigh-in was 120lbs.

    Yesterday I ate:
    3.5oz chicken
    1c romaine
    1 orange

    4oz chicken
    4tbs mustard (no sugar)
    1c romaine

    385 calories. I keep doing this. Accidentally realizing at 6:30pm that my calories are under and too afraid to eat after that point. Am I making things worse? I'm still eating all my protein.....not hungry to eat anymore. YET....when I see food, I am ...

    Okay, so obviously the ticker thing didn't work. I'll have to figure that out.

    QUESTION: does anyone out there using the Simeon protocol eat a fruit (or half a fruit) for breakfast and save the rest for an afternoon snack? My usual MO is 1/2 apple around 9:30; lunch (protein & veggie) around noonish; other 1/2 of apple around 2:30; dinner (protein & veggie) around 6:00; and then another apple for dessert around 7:00 - 7:30 (this is my had snacking time).

    Okay, so this is my first post on my (make that any blog. I'm not sure how this works but for right now I'm going to treat it like an on-line journal which anyone can read.

    I am currently in round 2 on day 10 and have lost 24 pounds altogether and 5.5 pounds on round two. In 2001 I had gastric bypass surgery and lost 140 pounds. It was very successful for me and I will never regret that choice but over the years I have gained 40 pounds back and I never got down to my goal weight. ...

  9. 5/15/11 Day 6 vlcd

    Hello 150s! Down another 1.2 lbs! I didn't know what to expect on the scale this morning because it's been 2 days since I've worked out, but yay! Maybe my workouts have slowed down what my actual losses would be, but I'm good with that because I want to keep toning my body.

    Over the last week I've lost any craving for sweets - yay!

    5/7/11 - Starting weight - 167 lbs! Ugh!!!!

  10. Vlcd29-Hello Stall City!

    So, it has been a week now of no losses and a couple days in there where I gained a 1/2 pound. I have not cheated, not gone off plan, been getting decent sleep, not too much stress. Don't know what is going on. Know this is what everyone says is normal, but did not think I would gain! Tomorrow is another measure day, so I am praying that I will see some changes there.
