  1. VLCday 13...s-l-o-w-

vlcd13 and down.2 of a pound. I am glad to see that after 3 days at the same weight. I, like everyone who gains or stalls have been going over every single thing to come up with an answere and the answere is...I don't know! I am so dedicated to this program-I do not cheat, not even with approved foods. I drink my water, I get 7-8 hours of sleep every night, I don't use oil based hair or body products, I don't use pre packaged broths.
The only things it could be is
    1. getting ...

  2. A second Quest - VLCD5 complete

Well tough start to yesterday. I woke up feeling weak. I decided to add a breakfast to my routine. I also took two melatonin before I went to bed and had a much better sleep. I feel MUCH better today and will stick to the protocol. Yesterday I ended up eating 730 calories. Despite that I had a loss but I know I need to eat according to protocol to have better losses.

Results – I released .4 pounds on what was a tough day. As I said I felt off all day so I am very happy with ...

  5. First week done!!!!!!!!!

First week is in the books! While I don't get on the scale because I gauge my weight by how my clothes fit, i did lose 6 inches in the first week!

I am 5'9" and weight about 180, so I have about 20 to 25 pounds to lose to be VERY comfortable and 30- 35 to be at a fantastic weight (for me) but seeing as I am 57 years old, I don't think I will be in the "fantastic" category any time soon. For now......a 6 inch loss (3 inches in my stomach and 3 in my hips) is FANTASTIC ...

  7. Blog Posts Instead of Forum Posts (Also: R3 starts now)

Compared to some of the seasoned vets on this board, I'm still a relative newcomer - even though I've been here over a year. I've encountered some great folks and personalities of all kinds. And now that the new year has recently come and gone, I see a ton of new faces around (hello, resolutions). So glad so many have a place for support. Trouble is, there aren't enough hours in the day for me to keep up. With the January threads moving so quickly, I don't have the time to catch up and I feel ...

  8. Prepping my Meats

I always find it easier to prep a week or two supply of meats. I typically only have about 30 minutes in the morning to make my lunch for the day. The George Forman grill that I have also cooks super fast which helps! It is a lot of work prepping the meats but it is all worth it. image.jpg

  9. hcg Vegan Protocol

I wanted to create the post in case others are searching for the same answers to questions I had when looking for vegan or plant-based alternatives to the hcg protocol, or if you were curious about the modified protocol that I follow.

Note: This is a modified protocol, so your results may not be the same as if you followed the original protocol.

The basic protocol is outlined as below, which I found from this blog post. There is no reference to where "the standard ...

  10. A second Quest - VLCD3 results

VLCD3 in the books. It was an up and down day, but I am always learning on this diet.

    Results
    – I released .4 pounds, down to 146.8. I can't say that I am disappointed. I lost 3 yesterday and frankly I did not eat clean, I will take it, total pre-load loss is 3 pounds over 3 days.

Eating – I was a bit hungry yesterday so I am playing with my dosage. I tried taking more drops but that made me hungrier, so reduced the drops by a bit and that seems like it may work. ...
