    Weight 226.0 today Ė I think that is up 0.6, which is what I lost yesterday, dunno why, probably because I didnít drink enough yesterday, who knows?     Today is day 57. Lost 28.2# total over an 8 week round. Today and Tomorrow are my VLCD days without drops. I am so excited for P3. Now to print all those fabulous recipes, go shopping and get to cookin'!

    Oh and 30 days until the beach! Oh i hope i can stabilize well. QUESTION - i want to start working out asap. Do you think light cardio for first week in P3 is okay? I did not work out in P2 at all. Flab much?

  3. VLCD8...stall stall stall!!!

    I'm still that 0.5lb up from Saturday. Hasn't budged an inch. My guess is this is a setpoint for me and I'm going to have to ride it out. Being at 164, that does mean I lost 10 pounds including load weight in week 1. Before I did my mini P3 stint, I didn't have a stall until like the 3rd week I think. So this is a tiny bit frustrating to me. However...I've definitely realized that being back in P2 this time is much more easy on the emotional side for me. Waking up and seeing the gain and ...

    So although there is only a 1/2 lb. loss today, I have finally broken a 3 day stall! I am over the moon with excitement, as I know that TOM is leaving, and I'm back on track to weight loss success. What a mental trip a stall has on you though. After loosing 11 pounds in 5 days, then 3 days of nothing, I was starting to get frustrated.
    I know that I just have to ride out stalls, and I feel like this was such an emotional acheivment that I stuck out the diet. I can only grow stronger and thinner ...

  5. R1 / p3 / d1 - uh oh!!!

    So, yesterday I went a little crazy. I ate the following:

    B: 2 scrambled eggs with American cheese and 2 sausage patties (SF)
    Snack: Atkins Protein Bar + 2 SF Reece's Peanut Butter Cup minis
    Lunch: Atkins Protein Shake + Almonds
    Snack: Pork Rinds and Guacamole
    Dinner: 2 pieces grilled chicken (with skin) I ate late dinner @ 7:30

    Total Calories = 1,600

    I was shocked and alarmed this morning that I gained 1.4 pounds. UH OH! ...

    I am freaking out the first time on hcg. After remaining pretty stable for the first week around 159.8-160.4, my weight is 162.4 today. I am now in my second week of P3. Tom should be here in in 2 days. Do I need to do a steak day? I want to do a high protein day today. Is there a guide to high protein days on this forum.

    Are protein shakes in milk allowed on high protein days?

  7. Cali Kicker (includes TMI)

    So today I tried two servings of the Cali Kicker, which is supposed to boost your metabolism. 8 oz warm water, half a lemon, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and a pack of stevia. This btw is p2 compliant, so this is a good thing if your curious to try it. Idk if it is just a coincidence or if its the probiotics, because i've had regular BM's since i started taking them, but after each glass I had a good satisfying BM, and i'm not talking about blow up the toilet epsom salt BM, but still really good for ...

    Nice drop this morning. I got ribbed (good naturedly) about being rogue in a thread.. and yes. I am rogue. I admit it happily. I think I'm on track with suspecting that 2 apples a day is less useful to me than 1 apple + protein shake. Trust me, the protein shake tastes kinda gross with just water, I'd prefer to eat the apple.. but I'm trying to stabilise my blood sugar, and my energy levels.

    So far, so good.

  9. R1/Day 1 of P2/Drops...and HUNGRY!!!

    So.............here I am on day one of P2. I don't know how many times today I was faced w/"normal" food, and talking myself out of doing the unthinkable and cheating! I woke up hungry, as I am a breakfast eater, have been since being pregnant w/my first child. Lunch did little to satisfy any hunger or cravings. Had an apple in between lunch and dinner, that was nice. Dinner was somewhat more satisfying. Just got done eating a spinach/tomato salad w/apple cider vinegar and a bread ...

  10. R1 P2 VLCD35: Frustration and ready to stop.

    Okay, so I've been losing poorly for the past 2 weeks. I've stuck it out, kept to protocol, and have not cheated at all. I had already decided I was going to stop this round two days early because I want to start P3 on mine and my dh's 10-year anniversary, so I'm not stopping because of how poorly I'm doing, but it just so happens that I think I'm in a stall.
