  1. Cocoa Crack - my version

    Everyone has their own take on how to make cocoa crack. I've been working on it for a long time, and this is the recipe that I've come up with that I find is best tasting. I've arranged it in a quantity that is good for a one-day serving for me. Making it in small batches helps keep things under control. However, I seldom find that I even want more than this in a day. Of course---adjust amounts and additions to your taste.

    2 T. coconut oil, melted
    2 T. regular cocoa powder ...

  2. Today is LID for this round.

    Well I've made my decision and today is my last injection day for this round. I'm calling this round one because the round I did 6 years ago was a disaster... My heart just wasn't in it. So round 2 will begin in 6 weeks.

    At first I was ally disappointed in my losses, but after measuring myself this morning after no loss on the scale for the 3rd morning in a row I remember that this is called pounds AND inches. I've lost 19.6lbs and 22.5 inches. Pretty amazing indeed.

  3. Going into P3 this week

    Well I have done a lot of pondering lately and have decided that even though I skipped my dose yesterday I will make tomorrow my last injection and proceed into P3. I have had 2 days of gains again and I just think my body needs a break so will try again in August. I may decide to just go for it again in 6 weeks but that would take me right into my sons wedding. I was so hopeful to be down 30 pounds in 40 days but that isn't going to happen. Someone may convince me to do an extra injection day before ...

  4. It's a new day.

    Today I'm up. 2 and I think it's because I didn't eat any vegetables yesterday. We spent the day with my son and his fiance at the lake. I didn't even think ahead about bringing anything that I can eat other than burgers to grill so that's all I ate yesterday.

    I'm also constipated (yes, TMI). I have taken casgara sagrada 2 time and it's slowly but surely working. Normally it's a quick fix but not this time. Hopefully it will help the discomfort soon.

  5. Finally seem to have my dose figured out

    I really thought that I had prepared so well prior to starting this diet but with all of the struggles lately I can see that I wasn't very well prepared at all.
    The positives that I can look at is that now I am ready with this wealth of knowledge to do another round and it will be much more successful than it has been this time around. Nothing is perfect and I have learned so much about my body and emotions on this journey.

  6. First week of phase 3 done!! Woohoo!

    First week of phase 3 was hard. Had a bad night and drank way to much wine and ate way to late. I gained 6 pounds in 2 days. That was so upsetting. I did a steak day and a fjff day. Got down 4 pounds. So not so bad. Staying at liw. I wish I would have stayed at the 2 pounds below but I'm happy. I am loving my yogurt and eggs avocado cheese and meet. I am celebrating my week with a glass of wine. I did t25 today no problem. It's amazing how much 30 pounds makes such a huge difference. ...

  7. Stick with it or move into P3?

    Three days in a row with no loss so for the first time I think I will be doing a steak day....I am waiting for Grammy's suggestion. After looking at my spreadsheet...should have done a steak day a couple of different times. ugh

    I'm not really ready to quit but just need some help determining the best way to handle this. I have to research on how to do a steak day. I think you don't eat all day until dinner and then stuff yourself with steak. I'm ok with that!

  8. Day 35 here and only 3 more days to go... YAY

    I was very seriously going to stop last Friday, feeling sorry for myself with dental work, a stall, thrush (TMI I'm sorry) and a cold starting... Very glad i didn't stop!

  10. Crazy day yesterday and higher calories but still losing

    Happy to still see a loss of .6 pound this morning. I am using boiled egg whites for breakfast with either grapefruit or strawberries, chopped mint and Xylitol. It really tastes like sugar and is crunchy so gives me a sweet fix. Had a crazy day yesterday and had to stay up late. Got hungry again at 10pm so had 2 chopped boiled egg whites on greens with a wonderful commercial HCG approved dressing and some strawberries. So I was over my 850 calorie target to around 965, but hopefully this won't slow ...
