Slight gain again today, but I expected that with the cheating on Monday. I figured I'd have 3 bad days and then everything will right itself again. Hard to believe that a "little" cheat could turn into three lost days. But it did. That's okay. I deserve that little penalty. But I'm not cheating again. I've stayed right on track since I recovered on Monday, so that's 2 1/2 days back on track. Maybe I'll show a loss tomorrow. But if not, I'm not going to let it get me down. I know this works and I know things will turn around. I'm still ahead of the game. 12.6 pounds lost and I've been on the plan 10 days. So still a little more than a pound a day.

I had a great frozen dessert today. 6 medium fresh-frozen strawberries, 2/3 cup of water, and three drops each of valencia orange stevia and vanilla creme stevia drops. Blended it and then put it in the freezer for 30 minutes until it got pretty well set up. It was like a cross between sorbet and a popsicle (without the stick). Really tasty.

I also added a tiny bit of stevia to my chili recipe from yesterday and it made it so much better. I had put too much cayenne in and it was HOT! But the serving I had this evening was a hot/sweet combination because of the stevia, and it was really good.

Tomorrow and Friday will be tough. I have to be out of town to judge a trial competition each day (I'll be coming home at night). So I'm gonna pack up some stuff and take it with me. Don't want lunchtime hunger to screw me up. My old pattern would have been to drink lots of coffee with lots of cream in the morning, not eat anything all day except maybe a bag of chips or candy bar from the vending machine, and then hit the fast food joint on the way home because I'm too tired to cook. So I'm changing all that.

I will say that in many ways, this diet is a pain. I have such limited time, and having to cook everything from scratch takes so much time. This weekend, I'm going to try to cook up several portions of chili, soup, and chicken dishes so I'll have them during the week. I always said when I grew up and got successful, I wanted Alice from the Brady Bunch to come live with me and take care of me. Alice, oh Alice, wherefor art thou? How I would love to have you cook for me. lol.
