Losing Weight -- Gaining Life!

*Pictures* 90 Pounds Lost. NINETY! I hardly recognize myself.

I write a Christmas letter thingy for my family every year. I've been doing it for 5+ years and I always start out by going through all of the digital pictures from January through "now". This helps me to remember big events -- and I put some pictures in the letter too.

I haven't had any reason to look at pictures from early this year before now -- and I was shocked.

How on earth did I let myself walk around looking like that for the past 10+ years of my adult life??

The catalyst for weight loss this time was honestly my health. I wasn't trying to look better. I wasn't trying to wear cuter clothes or attract a guy. I think that is why it is actually working for me as opposed to past efforts. I know that HCG is great -- but without the proper motivation -- even the best diet ever will not work.

That being said -- I hardly recognize myself now. Sure -- I see myself in the mirror everyday -- and as far as I could tell... I wasn't really changing that much. The differences have been gradual. But when I saw a picture from my sister's civil marriage ceremony in March vs a picture from her big religious ceremony this October... Oh. My. Goodness.

I have posted Before & After pictures on here before... in my profile... on a thread, etc... but they have always been Before/Afters of my body. I am now seeing the difference in my face and I hardly recognize myself.

But as they say, "The proof of the pudding is in the eating..." So here is the evidence:

I hope that shows up. The "after" is a webcam capture -- so not the best of quality pictures -- but I think it's pretty clear that I now have a proper jaw-line -- and my eyes aren't swallowed up by my cheeks anymore, and several other improvements.

I have achieved my goal of being healthier. I am able to run up and down the stairs in my house without losing my breath. I don't get tired out from walking my dog. My knees don't ache anymore. Etc. Etc. Etc. And for all of this, I am thrilled.

But I don't mind the changes to how I look either. Not one little bit.

I am so very happy for you. Posting your results is motivating to a lot of us just starting out. And you may be providing the extra push for someone sitting on the fence about making a start.
Since you have done so well, cld you please provide some detail about how you approached the program? Did you follow protocol? Did you cycle? Do you have cocoa crack in the fridge? Would love to hear more!
