  1. Oh TOM -- oh how I hate you.

    I try not to use the word hate too often. It's a strong word.

    But I hate TOM... especially while on HCG. It's awful.

    I gained... +0.8#? I think? And I only have 2 more days until my LIW. This is a terrible way to close out my Round 2. I should have just stopped on Sunday, while I was "ahead". Blargh.

    Oh well. I will just keep eating right and finish out this Round. I need to quit focusing on the numbers so much!

    So much for my iron clad resolve. I have been doing so great this Round. The closest I have gotten to a "cheat" is when I used a ton of oil-free hand lotion that contains Glycerin.

    But tonight I failed.

    Today was just plain rough. I had to go to a Bridal Shower for my future sister-n-law... and they had AMAZING looking appetizers all over the place. AND to top that off... they had my favorite cake ever (Carrot cake with creme-cheese frosting) *sigh* I ...

    I just don't seem to have time to Blog about my experiences here in Round 2 of HCG..... which is too bad because I like having a written record to refer back to when I am struggling the future. I need my past self to remind my future self that there are always bumps in the road in a process as difficult as losing over 100# of weight.

    I have had a terrible week so far -- as far as the scale goes. I'm down 0.8#... and then I'm up 1.6# -- I lose nothing, and then I lose -1.4#. I'm ...
  4. Phase 2/Day #10, The Dreaded 2nd Week Stalls. DON'T QUIT BEFORE YOUR MIRACLE HAPPENS!

    Feeling discouraged about the Dreaded 2nd Week Stall/Plateau? It's okay!! A lot of us are stalled. Read Pounds & Inches. Keep doing your protocol. We can do this!!

    I had the same problem during Week-2 of my first Round back in April. I was starting to think that the protocol was broken... that HCG no longer worked for me. I was so sad! And the weight never did come off again as fast as it did in week #1... but it still came off. I lost 36.6# in R1/P2. Keep going folks. ...

  5. Round 2's first visit from TOM.... Excuse my language.

    I did not plan this Round of Phase 2 very well. I don't know what I was thinking starting my HCG on the 3rd of July when TOM was due to arrive around the 6th of July. Granted... TOM decided to show up 6 days late... so I might be able to squeak by with just one visit from TOM while I'm on HCG, provided that it comes a little late in August too.


    I don't even want to get on the scale tomorrow. I'm already feeling bummed because I know that I am getting ready ...

    June 10, 2011 After 21 Days of Phase 3: 238.0 -2.8# below LIW
    July 2, 2011 After 21 Days of Phase 4: 233.4 -7.4# below LIW
    Weight after Loading: 240.8 Same as LIW (Gained 7.4# Loading.)

  7. In Round #1 - I was a Protocol Purist. Welcome to Round #2 -- Veggie Mixing Maniac!

    I know that the protocol I received from my Weight Loss Center isn't exactly Pounds & Inches strict... but it does say that I shouldn't mix veggies -- and during my last Round, I was really strict about that. I was even nervous about using minced garlic instead of powdered because I was so straight-laced. And I did great in Round #1....     Okay.... maybe I'm not hungry -- I just want to eat.

    How did I forget how unsatisfying it is to eat just 4-5 oz of Chicken Breast and 2 Cups of Zucchini as a meal? I feel like I didn't eat at all. I know that I'll get used to it.   9. Food Coma -- Round 2, Loading Day #1

    I cannot believe that I used to eat like this all of the time.

    I did not sleep well last night for personal reasons... so I got up too late to eat breakfast before church. Not a great way to start my first official Loading Day -- but I ate a handful of almonds on my way out the door.

  10. FINALLY -- Someone noticed that I've lost over 40 pounds.

    I was starting to think that my nearly 45 pound loss was going completely unnoticed. And don't get me wrong... I am actually not looking forward to the incessant comments on my weight that are bound to start happening after the next Round.
