What a bummer it was to quit in September! I was able to lose some weight, but I wasn't in a good place mentally (finances were absolute poop!). I am in a better place now, with a new job and a new routine. Not only that, I have found pre-cooked chicken breasts that must be microwaved for 2 minutes - so I am in heaven just thinking that I don't have to cook. I'm also back in school - which is crazy at my age... but I feel like I can do this and give myself a nice big vacation from ...
This could possibly be a horrible decision - but I am quitting HCG for a while. I was in a much better place, mentally, when I started it up in May. I think it's safe to say I've been eating for comfort lately - and even though I have not appetite, I manage to find a way to stuff my face. Going to go the Atkins route for a while and jump back on HCG when I'm in a better place.
This week was not as successful with regard to willpower, as I thought it would be. I knew how easy the weight came off last time that I feel like I'm giving myself too much room to cheat. I am weighing myself in Kilograms since my scale suddenly converted to KG. More accurate, easier to see if I lost weight (: So I will have to set a new goal in KG. This week must improve. I have at least 10 pounds to go, if not 15-20. I have to remind myself that I will be able to eat fun ...
I know I am playing with fire in R2, but the weight is still coming off. Starting right around ovulation time proved to be a pretty bad idea - I can't keep my hands out of the cookie (chocolate, really) jar. The scale doesn't seem to mind - but I know I have to stop. It will be tricky with Oct 31 around the corner... That, and I am officially a broccoli addict. I could eat it all day, every day, for every meal. It's not on protocol, either. Hmmmm....what else can I eat that ...
I completed a round with HCG Activator and felt so lonely back when I was taking it! Looks like a lot more people are on the board asking about it and using it, etc. I lost 17 pounds in 23 days - which I considered a success. I was eating more than the 100 grams of chicken, and used egg whites instead of meat on some days. But I did not feel hungry at all after the first week and I was very happy with my results. The only thing I suffered from was low blood sugar (perceived - never got measured) ...
Feeling rogue again, but I think it's permissible in R2. I learned in R1 where I could and could not cut corners, and I am in heaven, feeling much less restricted and much more prepared. It's good to KNOW that a week from now, I will weigh at least 5 pounds less. And two weeks from now, I will weigh 10 pounds less, at least! So I thought I would share the recipe that made me go from absolutely hating broccoli to not getting enough. And to know that it barely registers on the ...
I don't know how this is possible, but I didn't gain any loading weight in R2! I am going to go ahead and speculate that it's because for the whole month of August, I "loaded". I knew R2 was coming and I stabilized so nicely in P3/P4 that I started back some nasty habits in August. As a result, I gained back about 7 pounds. It felt kind of fun to indulge, and I didn't feel "out of control" hungry at any point - I was just being bad (: It's also worth mentioning ...
I am a little bit rogue - but considering how I've been eating over the last 30 days, I think it is not going to present any problems for me to eat a wee bit off protocol. This is what I had: 93/7 Beef, 6 ounces. 1/4 c Sugar-free Spaghetti sauce 4 ounces canned Chicken Breast 2 TBSP Salsa 2 TBSP Sour Cream Broccoli, Carrots, and Red + Yellow Bell Peppers, with 2 TBSP Cream of Mushroom Soup (added pepper, garlic powder, ...
Started back on the Activator on Wednesday, which turned out to be a pretty bad idea! I didn't have enough "bad for you" food in my pantry to do a serious load and the worse thing I could conjure up to eat was a few handfuls of cashews. The floods on this coast prevented me from a good Taco Bell or Wendy's run. So I came home today and raided the freezer after having mac and cheese, a Luna bar, some chips, a large handful of chocolate chips, and some toaster strudel (oh, and a PBJ). ...
I wish I had a freezer big enough to store the pounds of 93/7 I bought today (ground beef). It was $1.99/lb! I make a killer P2 spaghetti sauce and I can eat almost as much of it as I like (I don't always measure 100 grams). Going back to get more and cook it up to bag it up. Between this and my Chicken Fajita recipe, I will be set! So excited for R2 - starting 5 pounds above LDW (5+). Looking to lose a full 20 this time. Last time, I only lost 17, but I only lasted 23 days, I think. See ...
