  1. Week 2 Measurements

    I feel like I've been on this diet forever. I decided I am going to treat my husband's visit as an interruption and do another couple weeks after that. But man, I will need the break I think. I'm just bored, and starting to crave things. Like to eat the entire Superbowl. I stayed home by myself last night, cleaned my house and caught up on work! What a wild Sunday!

    Anyways, measurements. I'm just subtracting the inches I lost from last weeks measurements, and will do a total later. ...

  2. End of second workweek.... whatever day that is. Up .4, blast it!

    Yesterday I ate more than I have been, I did this on purpose because I felt I just wasn't eating enough. I had an egg and steak scramble, then a JR shake, then some plain chicken.

    I also had two Cali Kickers and took my vitamins. I made it a point to move around and do some housework after I ate before bed.

    And I woke up, excited to weigh in, up .4lbs? WHY UNIVERSE?!

  3. Day 11?

    Woke up down another .5lbs today. Yay!

    I'm in the 180's!

    14lbs to this rounds goal!

    Measured for fun again, losing inches like crazy. So excited to do an official measure on Monday! Also starting to look forward to P3- not necessarily for the food option (though that will be nice) but more to start working out heavier and implementing a healthy lifestyle. I'm going to start Bikram Yoga again, too. Want to do something different than the weight training ...

  4. Hump Daaaaay!

    Woke up another .7 down. I was kinda shocked to see that, because I feel really bloated. I'll take it!

    I did a quick measurement of my hips, thighs, waist for fun... I've already lost more inches. Since MONDAY. That doesn't even seem possible. I see losing inches quickly around my middle, that shrinks down fairly quickly with a low carb diet. But my thighs? My hips? Impressed!!!!!!!!!!

    Goal for today is to yet again, try and eat early and move around a little afterward. ...

  5. Day 8

    Didn't sleep last night. Poor doggie was having seizures again :-( Maybe just a couple hours of shut eye.

    But even with that, I woke up down another 2lbs. I guess the weekend weight came off.

    Today, my goal is to get enough sleep, and to eat more.

    15 more pounds until goal for this round!

  6. Thoughts and Rambles

    I've noticed that I'm really not interested in food. Last round, I thought about nothing else. I will have flashes of, "ooooh those triscuits look good", but it fades almost as quickly as it comes. Last round it was torture. I could barely watch TV, seeing people eat dinner or commercials about food made me so "mentally" hungry. But- I'm not interested.

    Theory 1, is that because I've cut out food, I'm in ketosis. I've done ketogenic diets before and rather like ...

  8. Week 1 Complete

    The weekend went pretty well. I'm down from 201 to 192. 9lbs! I would really like to get down to 175 during this. I'm really tall and athletically built, so that isn't a bad weight for me. Not goal, but a weight where I can wear most of my clothes. It's what I weighed when I got married! I look back at honeymoon pictures and I looked really good. I was more muscular then, though. But we can work on that...

  9. LCD Day 5

    Gooooooooooood Morning!

    Yesterday I tried to do things a little bit different. I had probably half a Jay Robb egg white shake (really just to try it) in the morning, for lunch I had lean ground beef with spinach, and for dinner I was at my sister's house where she had made steak fajitas. I just ate the steak, and a couple slivers of onion. I had no fruit! Yay Sarah! It's not that I think fruit is bad- I just don't want to rely on it for a sweet tooth situation.   10. Oooooh fun!

    So just for kicks and giggles I measured myself real quick. It's been four days.... I'm down .5 on my arms, .5 around my neck, 1 inch around my bust, 1 inch around my waist, 1 inch around my belly button. Hips remain the same, and I am wearing pants so I didn't measure the thighs. I'll do an official measure on Monday. I know much of this is water, but around my bust (back fat) and neck doesn't seem very water related. Woot woot!
