First day of P3

Rate this Entry
P3D1

I woke up this morning to a 2.2lb loss. No, I didn't eat Simeon's Protocol, not even close, but I did have mostly protein which was nice and the perfect ending to P2. Still in that 155-158lb range, which seriously is cracking me up. I am going to return to my P8 probiotics, but I think I'm going to tone it down at first and see if I only need like three capsules a day, one for each meal. Still going to continue the Mag Citrate for a while, but I also want to see if I can ween off of that. I feel like some of the discussion a few months ago was that MagCit stops working after prolonged use and I really don't want to end up without it as a tool in my backpocket.

This P3 I'd like to take it a little more seriously. I have got to remember to get my protein in! It's so easy to get caught up with the cheeses for me, but if they aren't matched with a good solid protein every meal I'm just not giving my body what it really needs.

Now, on to having a solid slice of cheese

What is the magCit you talk about? Is that magnesium? I get so confused with supplements! I do notice that my DigestAway really does help with keeping things moving on a regular basis, especially with all the meat i've been eating. I never used to like a lot of meat...still don't really, but my body does appreciate it!

That's a pretty nice loss for your last day of ph2!

Magnesium Citrate comes in a pill form and it helps you go poo . Most people start with one a day and up their dosage until they poo normally while on P2. I actually take 3/day.

And Probiotics are for helping with digestion. There is a great thread about being frustrated in P3/P4 and someone offered up that the original poster should try probiotics to help with digestion. Since then it's been kind of a craze, and a lot of people have had great success with taking them. The brand I take is P8 and has a blue top. I don't take them on P2 because I don't need help with digestion then and I'm not 100% sure of the ingredients. Others on this site take LCarnitine (not Acetyl) and other digestive enzymes, but I found the P8 was perfect for me and all I needed last round.

I don't know why but this comment doesn't seem to show unless I'm logged in. So weird, but I thought I would repost.

Thanks I'm gonna try the magnesium Citrate cause I'm on p2 and don't go much TMI, but I'm guessing nothing in there to come out my body uses what I eat.
