    Week One Loss: 12.3 pounds..woohoo!
    Week Two Loss: 2 pounds...boooo!!!!!

    That pretty much sums up last week for me. I only lost two pounds because I cheated twice, was completely stressed out, and almost quit half a dozen times. It amazes me how the very first time I tried hcg, I did it for 40 days, then cycled off for 2 weeks, and then back on for another 21 days. Now I can't even go through a week without struggling.     Today was supposed to be my first official weigh-in, but I weighed yesterday as well because I tried miracle noodles for the first time. Anywho, glad I weighed both days because I got to see a 2 pound loss this morning! Very excited, and no idea how that happened! But I'll take it

  3. VLCD6- Miracle Noodle Update

    I finally tried the miracle noodles last night and to my surprise, still lost (0.8). DH lost 1.5 of course, but good news is we both lost. I ate about 1/3 and he ate 2/3 of the package. Yes, they smelled very fishy when opening (and I HATE seafood), but I just rinsed them really well, patted them dry, then threw them in a frying pan and dry-fried them.     What a whirlwind of a week it's been, and not in a good way! I have no clue how I did it, but I hurt my back on Wednesday. It got really stiff at work and I was in a lot of pain. So I left early, and have been in bed ever since! I have a couple of bulging discs that will be around forever, and they just act up every now and then. So meds and bed rest it is. I must saying, being home alone, all day, on pain medication, is not an easy thing to do on this diet! I get very nauseous from pain meds so ...

    As I have mentioned before, after reading WLA, I'm only going to weigh myself once a week. I must admit, it isn't easy! Today would have been the first drop on the scale, a large one of course, so my instinct was to hop on the scale this morning and be overwhelmed with joy.   6. P2D1 with RX Injections

    OK, here I am starting over, again...for the last time, I swear! Long story short my drops went bad, and I finally took the leap to rx injections. I received the package on Thursday, loaded Saturday and Sunday, and my P2 journey begins today.

    The hcg I am taking is hucog. Received 2000IU powder vials, added 8mL bacteriostatic water, and filling syringe to 0.6 (equals 150IU daily). I must say, injections are WAY EASIER than drops! One shot in the morning and that's that! No waiting ...

  7. Need help with RX mixing and dosing!!!

    OK, here we go again!!!!!!!!! I can't seem to win this battle. DH and I have been starving all week even with an increase in drops. Then yesterday, the bottle smelled a bit mildewy if that's a word. It turned us both off, and neither of us wanted to put that in our mouths. Yet another setback!     Today was better as far as the mind games go! Getting back in touch with an old hcg buddy has motivated me! (Thanks Shadowcat!)

    Weekends are rough for me. It's easy to stay focused on things other than food when I'm at work. When the weekends roll around, boredom sets in, and that's usually when I would snack. To be proactive, DH and I made a list of things we can do on the weekends to help keep us busy. It's not a miracle list, but hopefully it will help. Eye on the prize ...

  9. VLCD 3- Mind Games!

    Only three days in and my mind is already messing with me. I want food I can't have. Not even bad food, just food. I've been down this road before, and I know the only issue here is in my brain. But it's so hard sometimes! I want to quit, but then I realize I'll never get this weight off any other way, especially this quickly!

    The restrictive diet is just really messing with me this time around. Hoping to stay strong but I'm worried!
