  1. Current round food inspo

    I'm updating my blog this round with some of my go-to P2 meals. It helps to look back on previous rounds what I was eating and it also might inspire any readers who are looking to pick up some P2 meals. If I can edit this post I'll add some pictures when I remember to take them!

    Note: I use MCT oil when sautéing food, it's not on protocol so if you want to be strictly POP then use some liquid stock instead.

  2. Back in the saddle (again!)

    I'm starting another round of HCG drops and as I was checking out my blog posts from way back in 2011 (I've done a few rounds since then, but not with the same success) I thought I journal this round again as I think it helps me stay on track.

    I did a round the year before last where I got quite close to my previous weight and but I didn't sustain it, that's the test for me.

  3. P4 Day 2 Update

    Just checking in to post my update, as now going into P4 and while I am still weighing every day I have not been very good at the daily posting. I am happy to be within 2lbs of LDW so today am just over a pound over it, which I seem to be hovering around. If I take the weight I was on the LDW day itself, I am only .2lbs over, however I am using the day after LDW where I was lower in weight, hence the 1 lb gain.

  4. P3 Day 10

    I have been offline for several days, just getting back from Easter Holiday mode and the shock of weighing myself when I got home to a 3.3 lb gain

    And so I did a steak day and wasn't sure if it would work as I had to wait two days before I did it from my highest weight gain weight, but am now .4 over my LDW and 1 lb over my lowest weight this round. So the steak day got me a 2.4 loss, plus another .2 loss 2 days later and I couldn't ask for better than that!

  5. P3D4 Ok this is nuts

    So after my "let-out-of-the-gate" binge (relatively speaking!) of the first few days of P3, and seeing I am still in a very social, party atmosphere environment for the next few days, I swore off the wine yesterday which is really the hardest for me when hanging out with friends at these events.

    So I am really pleased to be down 1.3 lbs even after last night indulging in some cheeky red wine at the festival (obviously I don't pay any attention to my resolutions ), ...

  6. P3D3 Ouch!

    I have done all the things I said I wouldn't do, and I blame myself! Which is good, because 'myself' will have to get me out of this!

    Woke up on p2 post day 2 before starting p3 at 1.2 lbs down on LDW, and being an optimist got a little carried away with adding back in food. Let me see, sausages for breakfast, blue vein cheese, brie, pork rinds, white wine and you can see where this is going

    To top it off, Easter weekend travelling to Byron Bay for the annual ...

  7. Post drops day 2

    Awoke to a drop of .6 and couldn't be happier (well actually I could if I won the lottery!)

    I wrote in an earlier post that I track my weight in kilos on my ticker, and when I crack the 60kg mark I'm gonna crack the champagne cause I can't remember the last time I was so low. And rather than pouring it down the sink like I thought I'd have to as I thought I'd be in P2, I'll be in P3 so I think I can have just a little sip! So anyway, I am just .2 lbs off this next milestone!

  8. Post drops day 1

    Down .6 this morning after stopping my drops yesterday at lunch (actually after running out).

    So today I am doing pretty much the same as any VLCD day, and trying not to think that I am hungry. Just need to keep sipping my water I think.

    Hubby is home from his trip and taking a nap, and I think I'll treat him to some of my VLC tom-yum soup with miracle noodles and chicken for dinner. Then he can have icecream and I'll finish off my apple and cinnamon.

  9. Day 39 and I nearly cried!

    It looks like today is going to be my last drops day because I am nearly out of drops and I don't know if I'll even have enough for dinner. So that means P3 a little early - great!

    Yesterday I had a prawn tom-yum soup for lunch, and it actually had a very helpful effect in the bathroom later that afternoon if you get my drift, since I think it had been almost a week.

    And so I woke up this morning feeling skinnier but the scale only showed a .2 lb loss, so officially ...

  10. Day 38 and I'm nearly done!

    Didn't blog yesterday - was dealing with TOM and a .8 gain turning up together. Oh well, I sort of expected something like that!

    But then today I am down 1 lb - I don't care, I'm claiming it!

    I only have two days to go, but I suspect my drops will run out before then, and if that happens it's no biggey.

    I am still 10lbs off goal, so I might do a mini round after P3. I don't really eat a P4 diet normally, although I do make a low-carb bread that is pretty ...
