  1. Current round food inspo

    I'm updating my blog this round with some of my go-to P2 meals. It helps to look back on previous rounds what I was eating and it also might inspire any readers who are looking to pick up some P2 meals. If I can edit this post I'll add some pictures when I remember to take them!

    Note: I use MCT oil when sautéing food, it's not on protocol so if you want to be strictly POP then use some liquid stock instead.

  2. P2D8 - Recipes updated

    Hi all,
    today is day 8 of my HCG journey. Scales showed another 600g loss today so super happy about that! 5.7KG down in one week. Happy dance... Only 37 odd KG's to go

    Update: Quinoa is just dandy for me. Lost 1.4 pounds from yesterday, and feeling ecstatic! I’m a pound less than when I started (128.2 to 127.2). Seeing definition in my core. Feeling more confident about this adventure.

    Apple Cinnamon Quinoa

    42 g / 1/4 c. Quinoa, dried
    120 ml Filtered Water (although I add at least 180 ml because I like the soupiness)

  4. Day 5 VLCD + Recipes

    Down 1.2 pounds this morning, a lot better than yesterday's measly .6 pound loss. Not that I'm complaining--I'm just glad this blubber, mostly gut and arm/back fat, is beginning to disappear. I noticed I'm looking a lot better from the side, and I'm continuing to just feel better inside. My stomach no longer bloats after meals, I'm a lot less burpy, and I've even gotten used to black coffee (with Stevia, naturally, and a teaspoon of almond milk).   5. CTCD Backfired

    Well correction day backfired - the weight that I lost after CTCD totally gained it back after bingeing on Indian food yesterday. Posting my menu today. I'm ready for some cheese! Trying some tomorrow. Laughing Cow, you are going to laugh all the way to my tummy!

    TODAY'S MENU:
    Bfast - 2 Hard boiled eggs, 16 pcs cherry tomatoes, Starbucks' tall blonde roast with 3 pumps of sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup and creamer

  6. Strawberry Lemonade Slushee

    Just made this and it came out pretty good so I thought I would share. I was craving something sweet and I realized I could mix strawberries, lemon juice and ice and make something yummy.

    -Juice of 1 lemon
    -Handful of strawberries (cut into halves)
    -Stevia packets to taste
    -Ice
    -1/2 cup Bottled Water

    Add ice, water, strawberries and lemon juice and blend until desired consistency. Add stevia and enjoy

  7. P3 Day 6

    I made it to P3. I was scared at first, but I am ok with it now. I CAN HAVE CHEESE! YES!!!

    I made fabulous egg cups this weekend:

    12 pieces of deli meat
    2-3 eggs
    2 lg tomatoes (diced)
    6-8 lg mushrooms (diced)
    1/2c-3/4c cheese
    1/2 avocado (diced)

    Spray muffin tin with non-cook spray. Line each cup with a piece of deli meat.
    Mix eggs and all veggies and cheese together.
    Spoon into each cup.

  8. Curried Tuna and Apple salad (P2)

    INGREDIENTS

    3.5 oz canned tuna packed in water, drained
    1/4 cup chopped, unpeeled apple
    1 tbsp milk
    1/4 tsp curry powder (check ingredients)
    1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (check ingredients)

    1/2 cup shredded lettuce leaves (optional)

    DIRECTIONS

    1 In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients but lettuce.
    2 Add lettuce to a bowl and spoon in tuna salad.

  9. Sugar-Free Ketchup (P2)

    I'm so excited and feel so silly for being so excited by this - but I just made a batch of ketchup and it is SO good!

  10. Ranch Chicken Recipe (P2)

    100 g chicken breast - cooked
    1 tsp taco seasoning (1 T chili powder, 1 t cumin, 2 t onion powder, 1 t sea salt (or less))
    1 tbsp milk
    1 tsp ranch dressing mix (2 Tbsp dried parsley, 1 tsp dried dill, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp dried basil, 1/2 tsp pepper)

    Add chicken to skillet and heat for a few minutes on medium-low. Cover chicken with taco seasoning and stir to coat. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
