  2. P4 one week......its good to be back!

    It's been a busy week and I am officially through 1 week of P4! I've been lucky in that I don't seem to be having issues with any particular starches, but I do think that adding back in starches in general has pushed my weight up a bit. This makes sense since the body retains more fluid to process the starches. Add in the fact that I also started back to the gym this week and it is no surprise to me that I am sitting exactly at 2lbs above LIW.

  3. Yes, I cheated

    Hi all, I am relatively new to this diet, but I am doing great and am down 9.6 in 9 days. However today I followed protocol as usual and then all the sudden after lunch I got a huge craving and ate about 35 pretzel thins, 1 tbs peanut butter, and my evening orange. Any ideas on how this will affect me on the scale, I am preparing for the worst and hoping that I will not gain to much but think I will stall....

  4. Pcos due to weight gain?

    Today I was diagnosed with having Amenorrhea due to weight gain. My OBGYN told me that I have gained over 50 pounds in three years. I was told to go on a diet and now I am on MEDS to make my menstrual become regular. I have a longgg road ahead but I have begun my journey.
  5. Losing is easier after HCG

    In my last post, I talked about the effects of a long vacation and too much food, which resulted in a 4.6 pound gain from my last weigh-in (and put me 6.6 pounds above my LDW). Yargh!

  6. P4, Vacation and Exercise, Oh My!

    It's been a while since I last checked in, mostly due to my being on vacation for the past week and a half and partly because our home internet service provider has gone out of business and I'm trying to find a reasonably-priced replacement... which is very hard when you live out in the sticks. But anyway, P3 and P4...

    In my defense, I had a lot working against me: 9+ hours car travel, lack of/inability to stay properly hydrated while traveling, and an abundance of food up at my parents' ...

  7. Sabotage!

    I don't know why or how I keep messing up on my daily tracking chart, but I do. Got it fixed--for now.

    Anyway, lately I've been sabotaging myself, mostly through lack of meal planning. I don't have any veggie broth at home and it's a 40-mile drive to the nearest store that stocks it, so I've been going without lunch during the day and then I come home and plow down too much dinner.     I am a self proclaimed foodie. I just love food period. I think about it 24/7 therefore it is a ritual on Saturday mornings I watch all the food related shows. Yesterday I was so excited at 215.5 but today gained 0.5 pounds. I didn't get enough water yesterday and I didn't sleep well last night so I am sure that could be the reason.   10. Loading Day One and My Story

    I get to begin!

    So far I have yet to eat anything but I'm about to make me some fried eggs for breakfast The eating all day is the hardest part for me because I'm so used to avoiding food. Last time around I didn't really get to "load up" and I think it effected my first try. I only got about two weeks in before quitting last time but now I know it's not what made me sick.
