I am presently on my second round of injections. Let me stress that I am and always have been a slow loser. During my first 40 day round, I lost 25 pounds. I went from busting out of a size 16, to wearing a comfortable 12. I didn't cheat, not even on p3.

This second time around, my loss is slow again, i'm down 12.6 in 16 days.

Reading Pounds & Inches, you'll discover the protocol is to stop injections once the patient reaches 40 days OR loses 34 pounds, so 34 pounds is the most recommended to lose during a round of rx HCG.

"Patients requiring the loss of more than 34 lbs. must have a second or even more courses. A second course can be started after an interval of not less than six weeks, though the pause can be more than six weeks. When a third, fourth or even fifth course is necessary, the interval between courses should be made progressively longer. Between a second and third course eight weeks should elapse, between a third and fourth course twelve weeks, between a fourth and fifth course twenty weeks and between a fifth and sixth course six months. In this way it is possible to bring about a weight reduction of 100 lbs. and more if required without the least hardship to the patient."

I've seen examples of 50 pound losses on the forum and higher.

My goal is to get back into a size 6 at least. I'm in a 12 now
Unfortunately TOM just came & I ate a bowel of cereal. I was so good all day. I also had fish with cabbage & some noodles. I am feeling so guilt right now. I'm down 10 pounds and I hope this does not effect me. Are you on the diet & do you know if we should stop the medication during TOM,
