12 Hour Work Disaster

Rate this Entry
When you are on your feet for 12 hours running around with your head cut off you tend to eat rogue. During the day I ate what I packed and had a Chai Tea Latte in the middle of the afternoon for a perk up. When I got home my brother was waiting for me with a mango cake and some pasta that a family friend made. Did I make the wise choice? N-O! I ate the cake like it was going out of style and had 2 full servings of pasta with creamy Alfredo Sauce. Resulting in a pound over LIW. Thank the heavens I had CTCD last Friday or else I would have gained more!

Today is a new day and I'm eating clean. Still trying banana and adding a serving of Sriracha.

P3 GUIDE: Doing CTCD one day every weekend
FIRST 3 or 4 DAYS - Still keeping VLCD food choices but adding good fat; olive oil and coconut oil. Adding eggs and bacon. Calorie Count up to 1200 for the first 2 days and up to 1500 calories on day 3 and 4. If morning weight is 1.8 lb above LIW, will not add new foods to the diet and will do a correction day.
SECOND 3 or 4 DAYS - Mixing veggies but still selecting protein from VLCD list. If weight is stable will add on after 3 or 4 days. Calorie Count up to 1400. Start light exercise. If morning weight is 1.8 lb above LIW, will go ahead and do a correction day.
THIRD 3 or 4 DAYS - Adding SALMON! Mixing veggies and still keeping food choices within VLCD. If morning weight is 1.8 lbs above LIW, will go ahead and do correction day. Maintain calorie count at 1350.
FOURTH 3 or 4 DAYS - Adding CHEESE and PORK. Maintain calorie count at 1350. If weight is 1.8 lbs above LIW, will go ahead and do a correction day

P4 GUIDE:
Starting P4 with CTCD
FIRST 3 OR 4 DAYS - Adding quinoa, having all carbs before 2 pm. Increasing calorie count to 1350-1400 cal. If weight is 1.8 above LIW will go ahead and do a correction day. Daily cocoa crack in the menu.
SECOND 3 or 4 DAYS - Adding BANANA and SRIRACHA, having all carbs before 2 pm. Increasing calorie count to 1350 - 1425 cal. If weight is above 1.8 above LIW will go ahead and do a correction day. Daily cocoa crack.

If you ate pasta and Alfredo sauce, mango cake (please describe in minute detail!) and a chai - and you're only 1 pound over LIW, I'd say you're in great shape!! It's not like that pound turned in to fat overnight. You'll get yourself corrected. I'd vote for another CTCD (just because I reay want some). But I'd eat my chicken thighs with the sriracha and Chinese broccoli. Mmmmmmmm. Or broccoli rabe.

Drink lots of lemon water. XXOO

By the way, I absolutely love your p3 and p4 guide/detail. You are so organized!

Rachel - I'm sure its an "Ancient Chinese Secret" -- will post a picture FFForum. It looks like layers of white spongy cake with some sort of mango-whipped cream-sugar combo. I need to get rid of it ASAP!

That's right girlfriend.. you are on P4.. adding in new foods..sugar and starch.. don't be so hard on yourself.. looks like your ok with it...gaining .8 from that kind of yummys deserves a friggin GOLD STAR! I would be so happy!!! I wouldn't even do a CTCD just eat normal and I bet it comes off as your body knows to try to get you back down now...BUT - that is just me.. I would be anxious to see if my body "takes care of it" on its own.. but if your craving your thighs anyways..then go for it.!! I am still super jealous you got to eat that though.. haha! Enjoy!

Yes, you are on P4 so don't beat yourself up so bad. Are you kidding me?! flippin' mango cake?! You know,if you really need to get rid of the rest of that, you can send it my way. I'll freeze it until I can eat itin P4...lol..I'mnot that way! Oh my gosh.....DERISHESH!!!!!!!

And yeah, you're still in the zone. Now if you ate that every single day, theeeen you might need to check yourself. But you haven't. You enjoyed yourself one day. Ultimately, we want to be able to enjoy occasionally and not be worry warts for the rest of our lives, right? So think of it this way: You experimented/introduced those foods in those quantities, you now know the affects, and you will do what you need to get yourself on track. No worries. xoxo (I am seriously going to be dreaming about your mango cake all day though...lol Any chance for a recipe?)
