  2. P4 and dealing with pain

    I am only 1lb above last injection weight so I am okay with that. I have been having a lot of lower abdominal pain and it goes around to my lower back, it even hurts down the the top of my thigh. It is all so making me sick at my stomach and I can't really eat a lot... so I am not getting very much protein.. I went to the doctor and he said I have a small abdominal-wall Hernia and gave me muscle relaxers to help with the pain. What worries me is he said it should get better in a week or 2 and if ...

  3. P4 Day 10... I think

    I have not posted much the past week.... just testing the waters on adding new food. I am happy to report all is well and I have not had to do a steak day during p3 or p4 yet. I have done a few high protein days and each time they worked great. I have added a lot of foods just in samll amounts except no bread. I don't know why but I just have not even wanted it . On Monday I ate a piece of cake and some pasta and still no gain.When I do treat myself the next day I try and eat very clean and it seems ...

  4. R1P4 day 1

    Well, I hope I don't have to pay to much for this but I had Tomatoe Basil soup for lunch. .... I ate it with a grilled chicken. I only ate like 1/2 cup be it really hit the spot. We will see how the scales act in the morning.

  5. Steroids ??? p3 day 22

    My doctor put me on steroids for 5 days to see if it would shrink a lump I have had in my throat for about 3 months. I have been on them for 3 days and gained 1.5 lb from LIW.I hope this does not effect my weight loss or make me really hungry. I did eat about 4 table spoons of potatoe salad at lunch today .... I just had to have it. I am on p3 day 22

  6. P3 day21

    P3 is going really good. I still have not had to do a steak day so far. I have done a few high protein days and they worked great.I am going to go very slow on moving onto p4. and I mean very slow. I will add some of the good carbs back in first. I am not ready to add in potatoes, bread, sugar or pasta yet and may never add them back. I am just really watching what I eat, when I eat,and add foods back in very slow. I think the first carb I will add back are red beans. I love them !!!

  7. P4 - not doing it

    Okay, I am still on p3 but I starting to read up on p4. I have done well on p3 so far and have not had to do a steak day yet. When I first started p3 I was not eating enough and everyone told me what a mistake that was. I am eating more and drinking the atkins protein shakes once aday. After reading all the post about p4 I am scared to death !!!! I really am thinking about just staying on p3 forever. Eating sugar and startch would have to be somthing I eat maybe once a week or even once a month. ...

    Well, I don't know what the hell happened but I ate 4 cookies last night and drank 3 beers.This put me up .8 but I am still under LIW. I think I will do a protein day today.

  9. Raw eggs

    Okay,

    I keep reading about everyone that make the Jay Robb Shakes with a raw EGG. I can't do it ... just the thought of eating a raw egg makes me sick. I will just have to deal with the 1 gram of sugar in the Atkins shake. One more thing .... if there are raw eggs in the Atkins shake PLEASE don't tell me !!!! :confused

  10. R1 P3 Day 14

    Good Morning to all,

    Just a quick note to say I am day p2 day 14 and things are looking good. Still have not had to to a steak day. I will get 1 lb over LIW or maybe 1 lb under So I am really happy. I did start eating more calories and that has helped. Eating lots of protein and even drinking at least 1 Atkins protein drink a day
