Just found out about the blog section! Sugar free gum Woes

I'm on the hcg injections (Ovidac) 180 IU and everything has been going pretty well so far. On VCLD3 I did cheat. I was having really bad sugar cravings and so I decided to have some sugar
free gum (not on protocol, I know.) But I figured it wouldn't hurt. Well, it did. After about 30 minutes of chewing it, I became hungry... VERY HUNGRY. And... that resulted in me cheating. I ate like 6 saltine crackers, a handful of BBQ chips, and lots of diced tomato broth I made(protocol friendly). I definitely could have eaten more, (like everything in the pantry) but I opted to go to bed instead.

I have stayed far far away from sugar free gum now and I am back to feeling not hungry at all. =D I'm wondering if sugar free gum has impacted any one else that way. I'm a little hungry
before meals, but nothing big. And I'm not hungry in the evening. Do you have any idea how much that excites me?! I am totally a night time snacker. So it thrills me to not even be tempted or hungry in the evening. It's a dream come true.



I had this for breakfast yesterday and it was sooo yummy. Just strawberries, ice, ice water, and stevia.


I've noticed that by making my food "pretty", I feel more like I am actually getting a treat and not just "diet" food. Helps me not to get bored with my meals. Plus it tastes good!

    I guiltily go through a pack of gum a day on p2. doesn't give make me hungry more like it saves me from eating out of boredom
