So here's my story. Sad but true....

I was successful during my first round. I lost 23 pounds in 23 days. I competed in my 1st triathlon. I sold everything I owned and moved from Florida to Arizona in ONE vehicle. I left behind my weight loss support and my exercise buddies. I traded them in for a fancy new job with a fancy new life.

During the move, I went back to old habits. It started on day one of the 12 day journey at Subways. I meant to have a salad, but ended up eating a 6". The bread made me bloat, but I blame it on the long car ride. We ate out day and night. I knew about 10 days in that I was gaining weight, but told myself I would get back on the horse once I started my new life in AZ. After 4 montsh, I am still telling myself that.

I went from 256 (LIW) to 286.7 this AM. OUCH! I have been eating WAY too many calories and giving myself permission to eat out because there are so many new places to go. I tell myself, "You deserve dinner (and lunch) out because you work so hard." I am back to allowing my brain to see food as reward instead of fuel. THAT IS HOW IT STARTED...

HERE IS WHERE IT ENDS! I took my first injection this AM. I am loading today and tomorrow. I already have my proteins weighed and measured. I have my fruit and veggies prepared and all the spices, vinegar and broth I can use for cooking ready to go. I am walking 1 mile a day (inside my office since it IS that big) and I have about 50 of my closest coworkers ready to lend me support. THIS TIME AROUND, I am dealing with my weight loss in body, spirit AND MIND. I have joined a 12 step group for overeaters and I will learn why I chose food for comfort when I need it as fuel. I mean, who on earth makes GASOLINE their best friend? FOOD IS FUEL. That will be my new mantra as I begin.

I am planning a 3 month course of program this time before I move to P3. I am in it for the long hall. I hope you will join me for the ride.

Thanks for the support. And WOW...12 weeks? Good for you. Please keep in touch and let me know how you are progressing. Most people here don't go as long as that. I have friends in the real time world who have taken HCG for 5 and 6 months without a break from the meds and they did just fine. Let's stay in touch.
