A second Quest - VLCD1 complete

Rate this Entry
Well I made it through day 1. I actually was not hungry to the point where I was uncomfortable. I remember last round I was starving. This time, so far, it is more of an empty feeling....much easier to manage. I would say that the Triumph drops are working better than the ones I used last time.

Results - I am very please to report that I have released 2 of the 2.4 pounds I gained during my loading days. I feel quite bloated still, so I am not discouraged, I am sure that once I am done TOM that I will drop 2 more pounds just from that alone. I always get so bloated during this time.

Food - My go to meal last round was sliced cabbage stirfired with my protein. I find this keeps me the fullest, so I had cabbage and extra lean ground beef with hot sauce, ginger and garlic with half a package of shirataki noodles for lunch. I used the noodles instead of the melba and am going to see if I can lose this way as I find the noodles are very satisfying. I had my apple sliced wtih cinnamon in the afternoon. For dinner I had veal with spices and I took the cauliflower and made cauliflower "rice"...yummy I will do that again. In the evening I threw frozen berries into my Vitamix and had a sort of berry ice cream...Overall a very good day.

Exercise - I got my 10,000 steps in but my right ankle is bothering me, I think perhaps the steps at work are getting the best of me. I may have to reduce my steps on VLCD2 in order to give my ankle a wee rest, I don't want to make things worse.

Random thoughts - Perrier water with lemon is a true night time helper for me. Although I always drink lots of water, I find it does get boring and I find the Perrier very satisfying. Last round I always ate my fruit for breakfast, this round I am going to really try not to eat until noon and save my fruit for my afternoon snack. The reason being, I find I mentally think I need something in the afternoon and I believe I can be more satisfied and stick to this with an afternoon snack. My drops came with liquid vitamin B supplement. I will take those for energy this round and I am also going to continue taking my multi-vitamin. It is very cold here in Ottawa, Canada and I really want to continue taking my multi for my health.

I will check back in tomorrow.

Hi ttaylor, I have to tell you about Triumph...they are the best drops!!!! I have done three rounds with this and have had great success. I started this round with something else and am regretting it. In fact I have already ordered some triumph (they have a great two for one sale right now). I don't know what the noodles are that you use. I have used miracle noodles in the past but have not heard of yours. I dont eat the bread and only once in a while eat the fruit, but I lose 25 to 35 pounds in 30 days, so the sacrifice is worth it. I must admit I DO use a quarter of a teaspoon of coconut oil to fry things in just so they don't stick to my pan and still find good results. Good luck to you. TRY TO KEEP WARM!!!!!!

Hi Prdreams, thanks for stopping by. The Shirataki noodles have 20 calories, not protocol but they helped me last round. I am glad to hear you had success with Triumph. I have to say I am a bit hungry tonight, I hope that goes away tomorrow. Did you follow their dosage recommendation or did you alter it? I thin your results sound amazing. I am hoping for 15 pounds in 23 days....fingers crossed!

I don't know about what they recommended the daily dose should be I just took one dropper full three times a day. I didn't use the syringe they provided. It worked out to be about 15 or so drops depending on how much you have in the bottle. I am sure you will reach your goals! It isn't really difficult to stick with if you add a lot of flavor (ie herbs and or seasonings). I can't wait for my triumph to arrive! I am going to look up those noodles.
