I guess I'm still in P4. I've have made a conscious decision to avoid sugar, HFCS, and wheat for perhaps the rest of my life. Not sure if I can maintain that choice, but I am so far. I have not added much starch back into my diet either. I'm thinking of adding sweet potato and perhaps trying some brown rice soon. Basically, I'm pretty happy with vegetables, fruit, nuts, eggs and meat. I do drink whole lactose free milk and I'm planning on making some lactose free yogurt soon. I add in a small amount ...
Okay. Starting P4 today. Stabilized great this time. But, I have not really ventured into any non P3 foods. First day of P4 and I'm down .8 from my LIW. Summer is always a busy schedule and I'm much, much more physically active. However I do tend to get into a funk because of the extreme heat. Other people get blue during the winter, well for me, it's summer and the oppressive heat. And, it's not even extreme as it gets here yet. Time to think about starting an exercise routine. Not sure ...
Can't really complain, as I enjoy eating the steak The dogs really did it too. This is the 1st correction day for me in P3 and I think I'm on day 17 or 18 into it. We had a fund raiser for the Flux Foundation (creators of the hugh temple at Burning Man) at our nursery and perhaps the Sangria is the culprit. I also had bacon yesterday for the 1st time and POW! 1.4 pounds just like that. At least I had a good time, met artists passionate about their work and everyone was mellow and in a good mood. ...
Went missing in action for a while, but missed my blog buddies. I've just been way busy with life. Fix r upper house and scoring some great finds for it on craigslist (cabinets, counter tops, etc.) I think I'm into day 11 or so this round of P3. Nothing much to report, staying within the 2 pound limit. I've not had to do a correction day. One day I was even .3 over the limit and my body just self corrected the next day. I think there may have been something with sugar in it that ...
I was having a hard time stabilizing the last time I attempted P3, so I went back and did 16 more days of P2. I dropped another five pounds in that 16 days. Seems my little old self wanted to stabilize at this weight. I'd still like to drop another 5 pounds, but perhaps do it without hcg. I'm just taking one day at a time. I'm 1.2 pounds above the LDW and have not really been measuring or obsessing about portions or calories this time. I did jump up to 2.2 above the third day of P3, but did not ...
Been crawling and now stalled. Never had a stall in R1P2. You would think it would be a snap to lose 6.8 pounds, but the closer I get to my goal, the slower the losses. At least for me, I mean SLOW! My energy level is starting to drag too. It may be a day of no fruit and high protein for me.
Overall, I can say I really do enjoy eating clean. Hunger has not been much of an issue for me so far this round. The losses do seem slower, or else I'm just way more impatient. I may need to ditch my mornin' splash of milk in my coffee to see if that does indeed make any difference in the rate of loss. If it does, then that would indicate that I'm totally sensitive to carbs and dairy (even lactose free!). The thought of two more weeks of P2 to lose 6.8 pounds makes me wanna spit fire. I realize ...
Still creeping along here in round two (ding). Have been losing, but at a snails pace. I can't complain too much as I am not willing to give up my milk in my morning coffees (2 oz total). I also tend to throw in an extra ounce or two of protein each day. I am able to function at a much higher level with extra protein. So, it's been losses like .2, .2, .4, .6 At this rate it seems to take forever for a 10 pound loss. Well, the average rate of loss appears to be staying in line with my 1st ...
Down another .8 pounds. Steady as she goes. Hope to be in the 140's by the end of the week. Patience is not MY virtue, but I should cultivate it. Perhaps I'll distract myself with working on my fix r upper house (a.k.a. the money pit.) I had no idea it would need new plumbing, some electrical and I'm not even going to mention the landscaping projects. Removal of junk from the property, etc. I guess I likes me a good challenge. Perhaps I'll dig into a big fat steak today too!
I'm down another .6, so another 8.2 to goal. I'm hoping it will keep dropping consistently until it's gone. I was a slow loser the 1st round too. So far I'm sticking to protocol foods (except for my morning splash of milk in my coffee) and this round sometimes eating my two fruits. Occasional use of coconut oil and extra protein. I seem to be losing pretty well with eggs. It always seems to be the last ten that try my patience. I'm one of those people that run head on into projects, get them done ...
