Need some good recipes

Rate this Entry
Hey everyone, this is my first time on this forum and I am very excited to find other people doing the HCG diet. This is my second round first time I lost 30 lbs. Then did maintenance during thanksgiving , 3 weeks in Hawaii and Christmas.. Needless to say I gain 12 lbs back. But I knew I was going to start another round in January, this time with my husband, so I think that knowing I was going to start again make it easier to slip up with my food.
We are on day 6 of the VLCD and are down 11.5 lbs. it's weird both my husband and I are down the exact same about of weight to the ounce.
I really love this diet, I believe that it is the answer to my lifelong battle with weight. When I am on the VLCD I stick to the protocol to the T, no cheating what so ever, it's just not worth it, but I find it very boring and tired of cooking the same bland food. Any suggestions for spicing up my food or good recipes would be greatly appreciated.
Also I notice that on a lot of the posts at the very bottom people show their weight loss on a sliding scale, can you show me where to find that.
Thanks again

Welcome and congratulations to you and your hubby.

    Spicing it up.
This is the link to my Notes for the hcg Cookbooks: http://www.evernote.com/shard/s118/s...c668e87e254d1d

I also use Mrs Dash or the Garlic and Herb seasonings at Sam's Club . . . just be sure to check the ingredients on the ones you choose . . . no msg and no sugars by whatever name they are called, dextrose, malodextrin)

Another staple is Braggs Liquid Aminos, it is an alternative to soy sauce . . . love it, I carry a little dropper bottle of it in my purse along with my stevia.

Somewhere on this site I have seen where someone added Apple Cider Vinegar to their evening tea, so I tried it and liked it then I began using it on my salads, a little when sauteeing stuff and I like it. ( I keep it in one of those squeeze bottles and mixed some stevia into the bottle . . it is awsome)

    Hope this helps you.

I'm brand new... but I asked the same thing about recipes and someone suggested: http://www.skinnymewithhcg.net/default.html
That site has lots of recipes, but I have not tried any of them yet.

Actually, I'm just starting my loading day tomorrow - so I'm really a newbie!
