I pretty much agree with you guys about the organic food products. Recently, I switched to organic milk, fruit, and meat products as well and all i can say is that i feel much healthier and better. A lot of people dont really care for Tredeau's input but I do think he has a great point. I wouldnt mind at all to going all organic but the only issue is that there arent many stores that cater to only being organic products.

For those of you who are interested in learning about what's really going on with our food supply, and 'conventional' allopathic medicine, which is driven by the pharmaceutical industry, I highly recommend following mercola.com. It's really opened my eyes to the fact that at least for the last 20 years things have changed... and NOT for the better. I used to think (like alot of people), that 'organic anything' was followed by only 'the sky is falling, tree hugger types', but they were right all along! Organic eating does cost more, at first blush, however, when you factor in that people will be eating less junk, and processed foods, and the cost of poor health, it is in fact LESS expensive. The fact that our governments now dictate what we are and are not allowed to have access to infuriates me. Altho I am Canadian, from what I've learned, in the US, your 'candidate' Ron Paul (who happens to be an MD), is the only one who advocates cleaning up the food supply, allowing access to raw dairy products, etc. In California next year there will be a vote for mandatory labeling of GMO foods (BTW which is the law in Europe) For myself, when I switched to grass fed beef, free range chicken/eggs, organic produce, and clean water, I definately noticed that not only does it TASTE better, but within 3 months, I felt better than I have in a long time.

Thankfully, for more and more people, the lightbulb is turning on... there is a reason why there are so many people around us who are allergic, sick and on pharmaceuticals. We need to stand up and take responsibility for our own health!
Reet: I just thought that I would note that the GMO bill was on the ballot (I voted YES!), and it did not pass. Hersey, Kraft, and Monsanto (Satan on Earth) managed to scare the common folk into believing that food prices would soar. I don't seem to remember that once labelling started for companies using "organic" on the label, that prices soared, in fact, comparing prices between organic and non organic, organic cost $1.00. Seriously!

I am with you guys about organic, I used to think it was hookey crap, until I educated myself. I try my best to buy organic on things that I would eat the peal, so I don't buy organic bananas or oranges. Sometimes, we are just at the mercy of our grocery stores, now that the Farmer's Markets have come to an end.

Jeez, that is so unfortunate that the bill didn't pass!!! I donated to that cause. Satan on Earth is right. Did you ever see the documentary, The World According to Monsanto?

My hat's off to you, Kansas!!! The farmers of this world, and especially organic farmers, do not get nearly enough respect for what they do.

Thanks for that. I have no money but not many pple go to work every day and feel joy. And, I do actually feel appreciated.
Whenever my mom tells me that "you need to do this, you need to do that" I just think, I'm happier than she is, so why would I change?

    Happy losing.
