Granny...Colleen! Thanks so much for the mug cake! I just made me a batch...I love it! I did however change the coconut flour to almond flour and it was delicious I have been craving chocolate and now I had my fix much better...so thank you so much!

I made it the first couple of days and it was good. But for the past three or four days every time I make it it's very bitter. I've tried splenda and xylatol both and it's bitter either way. Any suggestions?
I actually got it to work for me tonight! It was very crumbly coming out of the mug, but it tasted good with the whipped cream on it! (had to add a bit of splenda to the cream)
Raelynn...I added a bit more cream and about another 1/4-1/2 teaspoon sweetener to it. That seemed to help for me. I also used the Hershey's Special Dark cocoa that twoangels suggested. It tasted much better tonight than last time on P3!!

Hmm, which recipe did you use, Raelynn? Here's what I use:
2 T almond flour
1 T cocoa
1 1/2 T xylitol
1 egg
2 T cream or half and half
1 T oil (olive oil or coconut oil)
splash of vanilla
Bake in micro for 90 sec.

I've been using the doubled recipe. Maybe that is why I gain everytime I eat it
I've been using the recipe that you just put on here. I don't know why it's bitter. I could up the cream and see if that helps. I've tried the xylitol and the splenda and they both made it bitter.

Okay I'm trying it again tonight with butter more cream and whipping cream on top. I sure hope it works.
Yeah, I haven't been able to finish one with the double recipe. I guess I will try it again next week after I get back down.
