    Frozen Cooked Shrimp and Cucumbers

I'm starting P2 and going to be away for 5 days on work-related trip staying at a hotel. I'm planning on just loading the small fridge with frozen cooked shrimp and cucumbers since I won't be able to cook anything. Is my plan flawed? Can I eat the same protein 5 days in a row?

    Thanks!

Some say you should switch it up so you don't develop a food sensitivity, but many eat the same thing and do fine.

I once ate shrimp on a daily basis and developed a food sensitivity to shrimp that has never gone away. And that was three years ago. I can't believe I'm now allergic to a food I once loved so dearly!

You also run the risk of getting bored eating the same thing over and over again for so long.

Are you planning to add some kind of fruit? And are you certain that you'll be reaching your daily 500 calories?

    Thanks lovelyladyhcg.

Good point about the 500 calories. Maybe I should look into frozen cooked chicken breast as well. Yes, I'm planning on getting some apples and oranges for the fruit part.

I dont think you will have an issue eating the same thing for a week.

I don't lose as well if I don't vary my proteins on a daily basis. I am also one of those folks who don't lose well with shrimp either, so if you happen to fall into that category, you might end up in a 5 day stall.

In my final round, I had to be away from home for a week on business. I cooked 3-4 days of chicken breasts, then bagged them using my food sealer system before leaving home . I had a mini fridge and microwave in my hotel rooms. so I was able to eat the chicken(room temp or microwave heated) atop bagged salad greens or with cucumbers for a few days of the trip. I also went to the market, bought scallops and a tin of old bay seasoning and cooked those in the microwave as well.

I'd lost 5 lb. the time i returned home, and still have fond memories of those days and how I managed my eating successfully

I think eating the same food is very boring and you should add something more or eat it every second day
