    Frozen Strawberries—P2

I'm going to be using frozen strawberries during my P2 round so I can make smoothies. Should I assume the amount is the same as the fresh ones? Thanks!

Yes, but you always have some leeway with fruit and veggies. The size of the apple is up to you, the size of a handful of strawberries is up to you. You just have to make sure your calories all add up to close to the 500 allowed for the day.

    Thanks Leez!

Another question for you. I plan to make smoothies out of my allocated lunch veggies (frozen spinach). Can I break that into 2? Say one at 12 and another mid-afternoon? Is that protocol-approved? Thanks!

As long as your total for the day is 2 protein servings, 2 veggie servings and 2 fruit servings, you can divide it up however you like. The only rule is that you can't have both servings (both fruits, for instance) at the same meal.
