    prebiotics: inulin, FOS, fructooligosaccharides

    I've read a lot of conflicting information on inulin and other prebiotic fibers. (Chicory is another one.) Or are they really fiber? Or just another mask for sugar? Are they good or bad on HCG?

    Sweet leaf stevia packets contains stevia blended with inulin. Several HCG websites tout this sugar substitute as HCG-friendly and describe the inulin as beneficial fiber.

    As a pre-biotic, it is avoided by people with certain gut conditions like celiac and leaky gut, since it feeds whatever dysbiosis is occurring there, but for normal people, would it be a neutral substance and ok to use with HCG?

    Wondering what the prevailing wisdom, experience and educated opinions there might be here about it.

    Found this when looking for an answer about inulin. Has this been addressed elsewhere? I'd like to use a chicory/dandelion coffee replacement but it has inulin in it. Carb count is 7g in 10oz of noffee.
