cheated througout P2 - now what?

    hi everyone!

I'm on R2 and had a horrible P2 (35 days). I did pretty well for the first two weeks and then just let it all go. What a waste. My main question is "now what?" Do I still do P3 protocol or do I move to P4, since I was eating fats and sugars in P2? Not sure what the best plan is. I'm anticipating all my weight to come back (hopefully not pre-R1!), but really trying to keep myself within the 2 lbs!

    Thanks!
    Kim
P.S. For those thinking of cheating (and I'm guessing maybe you are since you're in the cheaters forum), don't do it! I know it's easy to think "oh, just for a day..." here and there, but it's really not worth it. Someone posted in one of the forums that 21 days is NOTHING. You can do it! And don't do it halfway. It's really discouraging to do it correctly for a couple days, then cheat, just bringing your weight back to what it was. Then when you're 21 days in and realize you could be DONE but you're just where you started, it's just really a waste of time, mental stress, and emotional beating-up. You can do it!!

I would definitely do a very strict 3 weeks of P3. You may or may not be able to stabilize, but hope for the best. Or you may find you stabilize a few pounds above your LDW instead of within 2 lbs of it. Best wishes to you.

Thanks so much. I figured that needing to adjust my *hopefully* stabilizing weight would probably be necessary. We'll see! Thanks again for your response.

I'm in my third 42-day round (Rx injections, after a 6 week break) and like kimwilliams I also cheated throughout this round P2. I have about two weeks left and I don't know if I'll end up with any losses. My head and body are in the right place and I don't want to wait for two months before beginning another round so I'm considering going right into R4, any reason not to do so? When I am able to have a successful R4P2, will I have an especially difficult time stabilizing in R4P3 due to R3P2? Besides the usual back-to-back/long round dissuaders, I've seen positive feedback for long rounds here.

Anything? If my doc will allow it, I think I am going move forward immediately with round 4. So, on day 43 I'll start a 2-day load and another 42-day round hopefully with injections again (last back-to-back round my dr office made me take another method of HCG so R1 was injections and R2 was drops, after the 6 weeks I was able to do injections again for the mess that has been R3).

Are you skipping a day a week on injections? And if you are just continuing your round I don't believe you have to load again just keep going like your doing a long round

    Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to say this. I had a cheat day last Sunday at a special occasion. I ate anything I wanted to. However, what I found was that I didn't eat anywhere near the amount of the stuff as would have before AND I did not KILL my diet. Sure I had a momentary gain the next day- but that was because there was actually FOOD in my intestines. The next day I went back to protocol and everything is clicking along fine. NOw, I'm not saying a person should just go around cheating every other day, but there is such a thing as being moderate and realistic. If you have something that's off protocol, enjoy it and then get back on the plan. Just realize it may slow it down a little. But that's not the end of the world. even the literature on the diet states that a couple cheats "will not effect efficacy provided they don't occur too often". Don't completely stop living your life over any diet plan. Folks, losing weight is a journey. You will have times when you fall off of the "wagon" during phase 2. Get up, dust yourself off, go for a good long walk and keep moving. Just try to keep your mind on the prize and keep going. Remember that NOBODY ever got fat because of one binge eating episode nor ONE of anything. This is a lifestyle change. Be patient with the diet and with YOURSELF!

Thanks for your response! I do injections every other day per my doc practice, they dose each shot to average the every day injections.

I would not do that. You're going to be hungrier that way because right after your larger shot, you'll have a high amount in your blood stream. I would buy some more syringes and dose it properly.

Thanks Grammy. Knock wood, I really haven't had issues with hunger.

I would also make sure your head was in the game before continuing with a long round. What has made the rest of this round so difficult? Has that situation been resolved? I've had a terrible P2 and accidentally ended on day 25 when my bottle dropped and shattered on the kitchen floor. A fitting end. I am going to wait at least two months before starting again because I am going through lots of emotional stress and I know that won't abate any time soon. If you're in a similar situation, I would wait and get things worked out before trying again. Good luck.

oh well, my question was moot because my naturopath won't permit a back-to-back round, so I have to wait 6 weeks until I can begin another round. I was really disappointed but I am getting used to the idea and I'm sure that I will enjoy the 6 weeks.
