    Help! Accidentally go over 500

I bought my protein powder today just for a substitute of the chicken breast.. It says one scoop for each serving.. but i didn't find the scoop in it...i put put around 5 table spoon of protein powder for each meal..and then i found the scoop..it's only about as big as two tbsp!! i was horrified..a scoop = 110 calories, and I almost consumed 275 calories of protein for both meal..I didn't have my vegies and melba toasts.. but that really does not help that much. Will I definitely gain or stall on the next day?should i do some workout to just burn it off?

I doubt the workout would do anything - some even gain from workouts on this diet! I wouldn't eat anything else and just start fresh tomorrow - hopefully the scale won't show much...good luck

What I would recommend is that you go strait to a mental health doctor and then meet with a nutritionist to set your thinking strait. First off your body needs that extra protein to function, and when you starve yourself (which is what you are doing) muscle will wither away, the protein gives them a little more time before they shrivel up and die. Also when you gain weight from workouts? You are probably gaining muscle- which weighs MORE than fat by the way. People who workout a lot HAVE to eat more in general to maintain the same body mass, and become more hungry because your body recognizes that it needs to replace what was lost TO SURVIVE. Also this is a crash diet, and crash diets always fail. I would recommend rereading your biology text books and see what your body is really doing. Real weight loss takes time, but unlike crash diet it actually lasts, and you don't risk developing a serious life altering mental condition that might just kill you. Overall don't sweat it. Even on SAFE diets people slip up, and... life goes on. Screwing up once in a while is completely normal, everyone has ups and downs. However, I can assure you that nothing good will come from beating yourself up over it.
Respect your right to your personal opinion, particularly since your past (I guess) problem probably kept you skinny. Most overweight people know about dieting the way biology books and some docs advise, have lost and regained more weight than someone with anorexia ever weighed. If mere knowledge of "biology" and exercising and dieting solved the problem, we wouldn't need diets, like HCG, that really work to help us get the weight off at a rate that will keep us going. With all due respect and no name calling, tell all you said to somebody who's not fat! I'm sure they will agree. So far, I'm happy and will continue with this diet because it works for me when many other options didn't work or were so slow that they were quite discouraging. By the way, what about the people who get weight-loss surgery and are put on very low calorie diets or even completely liquid diets, plus the doctor-administered diets that use only liquids for several months? As I stated, this is working for me and I'll take the chance of losing the weight and lowering my risks for many deadly diseases versus the politically-correct dieting methods. Glad you've solved your past weight issues!

If you are going to go high on anything protein is the place to do it. With the low levels we consume you can go up without getting too much. I'm sure you'll be fine. It was an accident, they happen. I wouldn't worry much about it.

    Dear yourallstupid,

I'm not as nice as the rest of the people here.

"Your probably gaining muscle-which weighs more than fat, by the way......"

Hmmmm.....let me ask you a question....if you have a pound of fat, and a pound of muscle, which weighs more?

Muscle may be denser than fat, but I'm pretty sure a pound of anything, including BS, weighs....let's see....oh I know, a pound.
