Have you ever had a perfect round?

Have you ever had a completely perfect round with not one single cheat? Not even a licked spoon? Or "just a bite" of a chip? Or one goldfish? That is something that I struggle with and I'm sure that it sabotages my efforts.

All my rounds were perfectly on protocol. I never considered cheating. I didn't want to to waste all that money. It wasn't hard because I was completely un-hungry the whole time.

Hunger is not what causes me to cheat... for me, it's all in my head. I just like the feeling of stuffing myself and chowing down on the foods that I'm addicted to. It's like cocaine to me. I'm not hungry either... just emotionally drawn to food.

I would deal with this problem before wasting time, money, and vital energy on round after round of the protocol.

My first round was absolutely perfect and if I'm remembering correctly, my second was, too. In later rounds, I made the decision to use 1 mini moo half and half per day when I was at work instead of 1 T milk. In one of my rounds I ate zucchini once. I've used protein powder two times. And my last round I had zucchini as a vegetable regularly. All my cheats were deliberate decisions to modify the protocol. Other than that, no. I've never licked a spoon or taken a bite of something.

Some have had success resolving their emotional food attachments via the Hunger Scale methods used in this book. Weight Loss Apocalypse A related thread here: Emotional Eater and SCARED to death to start...

I'm a big Robin Woodall follower and fan. In fact, I base my own long-term self-care on the Mind:Body Method.

However, even in her more recent work, she has been asserting that one must deal with the root causes of the diet cult, binge/purge cycle, before embarking on the protocol as hormonal and emotional rehab.

I didn't follow the protocol on calories but mostly on food I ate. Like Jmmr anytime I did go off protocol I did it knowing and testing the limits to the protocol. Emotional eating is hard, the Robin Woodall book really helped me see my issues and correct them. Good luck.

me too hoping by going 43 days this round to overcome that emotional side of eating. I can very much relate to what your saying!
