Thread: Short PI?

    Short PI?

Hi all! I'm planning a PI next week and was wondering if anyone has experience with a shorter PI than what P&I recommends. I'm wanting to start the PI next Friday and go back to VLCD on Monday for at least a week. I've considered just doing P2 for Friday - Sunday but I'd rather not chance gaining more than what I would if I did the PI. I have an event planned for next Saturday.

    Thanks all!

Dr. Simeons states that a planned interruption is designed for 4 days to Two Weeks, so anything shorter is probably counter productive.

I've done PI's in the past which were 7-10 days. When I resumed my VLCD, I've gone on to lose another 5-7 lbs.

Thanks! I guess I would only need to add 1 more day then and start back with VLCD on Tuesday vs. Monday. I thought it had to be at least a week for some reason.

That will only work if you stop HCG during the 72 hours preceeding the minimum 4 day PI. Wanted to clarify for anyone reading that its not just going into the interruption, but also the wind-down to get there. In the end the process is a minimum of a week if you take that into consideration. That may be where you got the idea.

Thanks, Leez! I was going to stop my drops on Tuesday so that Wednesday and Thursday would be VLCD's without drops, then the PI would start Friday

Will you be using a new batch of drops after the PI? You don't want to resume for too long on hcg that is on it's way out.

Just an update - I never did the PI because plans fell through, which was actually a good thing! I'm down 14.4 lbs. in 24 days and today is my last VLCD without drops.
