    A Tip For When You Feel A Cheat Coming On

    We all know weíve been there, so I just wanted to post whatís helped me immensely if Iíve been overwhelmed by my bad eating devil telling me to blow the whole thing, Iím not worth it:

    CHEW SLOWLY AND THEN SPIT IT OUT!

    It finally occurred to me that mostly Iím craving texture, taste & mouth feel. I DO NOT recommend this as a daily occurrence, itís important to address whatís going on and why youíre doing it. And this will likely stall you, so donít make it a daily habit. But at least you wonít gain weight, you wonít have sabotaged your diet, and you can look at your reasons (for me they never have anything to do with hunger) without feeling like youíve ruined everything.

    I have done just that!

    I'm sure I absorbed *some* of what I chewed, but at least didn't swallow the whole thing.

    I did that yesterday with a tiny piece of a lemon bar. Spit it out but man it tasted good. lol
