Transition to phase 3 but wanting a cheat day

im about to transition into phase 3! I've lost a good amount since I have been on phase 2 with absolutely no cheating!! BUT now comes Vegas out of no where, the day I land will be my first day on phase 3 and of course I want to have fun. Has anyone heard about cheating while transition to phase 3 from phase 2?

You can have fun on Phase 3 without cheating. After such a successful no cheat round, why would you want to jeopardize things now for one day?

Adding any fat before the HCG is out of your system usually causes a gain that you will not be able to recover from. You will most likely keep whatever you gain. That time still on the 500 calorie diet without HCG is generally what is called the transition. I think you are actually asking about P3.

The protocol says you can have wine with dinner in P3, so a little alcohol is already built into the program. Some think they mitigate the impact of that by holding back on one of their fruits for the day. That's a way to enjoy things with no foul. Also if you must indulge further, a vodka or two is the safest choice. But it can be just as satisfying to have selzer water with a wedge of lime and carry that around all night. It makes it look like you are indulging in the drink culture and satisfies any social pressure.

Vegas buffets can be great for finding yummy P3 choices. Remember you can have all kinds of fats: butter, olive oil, nut butters, juicy steaks, eggs and bacon. There is really no good reason to cheat when in P3. Fun doesn't have to involve unhealthy food choices.

And I just want to emphasize what Leez just told you. Cheating badly now will absolutely destroy your round. I'm not kidding. The gains from a weekend when you first start P3 if you go off the tracks usually never fall off. But P3 is easy to stay on.

I think P3 is the most critical part of the hcg diet. P2 is just for the easy part - losing weight. P3 is the part where you make weight loss real. Follow Leez's advice.

I have noticed a significant number of people who are just going to "cheat" for a couple of days and then we never hear from them again. Were they successful? What did they do? What did they eat and drink? Did they get right back on track? Did they continue to follow the plan and their cheat just coincided with their decision to never post again? Or did they go off the rails and give up entirely after regaining everything? I don't really have answers to any of that.
