    AST and ALT Elevated

Is this normal during an hcg round?

No it's not normal. What's your doctor say about it?

He is having me come in on the 20th to repeat the bloodwork. I thought it was normal so I wasn't worrying because the liver is doing all kinds of interesting things during hcg. Guess I might want to worry now.

I'm glad you're getting it looked at! I've never seen any elevated liver tests after hcg, at least no one has ever asked about it before. Mine have always been fine.

I went in last Monday to talk to the Dr. He drew blood while I was there to check Heps, A1c and the liver enzymes again and sent me to ultrasound to check if I have fatty liver.

Blood work came back within normal limits. I'm going to assume that the diet elevated it since I know it puts a lot of pressure on your liver to deal with all the fat you are releasing.
