    Feeling moody and cranky

I am in R1P2 Day 20 of a 40-day cycle. Injections. I have lost 18.6 lbs so far.

For the past few days, I have been feeling kind of cranky, but also detached. Is this the detoxing feeling?
    I don't feel "bad"... I just don't feel good.

I have been drinking my 10 or more glasses of water and sticking to the protocol, no cheating. (I have wanted to, but I didn't)
Actually, I broke down and ate ONE cashew a couple of days ago!

I had a hysterectomy last year, so it's not PMS (kinda feels like that, though).

Has anyone else felt this way? Need some help.

You are way ahead of the average loss of .5 pounds per day. What a great round you are having.

If you have been experiencing cravings, your dose could be off.

Try skipping your dose tomorrow. If the cravings disappear by late afternoon to early evening, you can lower your dose the next day. You don't mention what your dose is, but generally a drop of 25iu will make the difference.

Thanks Leez. I am taking daily injections of 200iu. The syringes are premixed and measured by the clinic that I go to.

200iu is usually too high for most people. That could be the source of your cravings. Even at 175iu, your dose will be higher than most.

OK, thank you again. I'm gonna skip tomorrow's dose and decrease to 175iu and see how that goes. I'm feeling hopeful!

It's funny, I went to my clinic appointment tonight and asked about decreasing my dose and the nurse looked at me like I said something crazy. Then she said they could increase the dose and add Phentermine. I don't want to do either of those.

Just a note: if you get hungrier/cravings worse after 4pm...that indicates dose is too low. I would be super surprised if that happens, but you have to allow for the possibility.

I was always on cloud nine in P2 when on hcg. I began to feel the way you descibe yourself now about a month after P3 had ended - lol!

Leez, I just want to say thank you again for your advice. I skipped a dosage on day 22 and then reduced my dose to 150iu and I feel a lot better. The crankiness has subsided and my hunger is much more manageable now. I weighed myself this morning and I'm down 1.2lbs since yesterday which is great, because it had slowed down a lot last week.

Excellent decision. If you are still hungry after 4 days on the new dose, you can skip again. It could be that you need to reduce a bit more.

Weight loss resuming again is part of what happens when dose is more correct, so that's a good sign.

When you say dose 120. Do you mean .20?
