    Hypertension on HCG

I searched all over the internet but couldn't find information on this. It became a problem for me with my last few rounds.

I'm a guy. 5'7", currently 276lbs. In 2016, I had tremendous success on HCG and lost 88 pounds after doing 3 rounds! The first round was with a local clinic, but then I discovered NuImage and did the other 2 rounds with them. After that, I tried ReliableRx for rounds 4 & 5 and burned more fat.

The wheels fell off after that...

I went back to ReliableRx. Yes, I know overseas HCG isn't as strong as what we get here, but the cost is great so I went for it. Since round 6 and beyond, the HCG never worked the same. It didn't eliminate hunger like it did before, but my blood pressure was still normal. Because of the cravings, I ended up stopping and starting a lot, giving up because of the hunger (and gaining weight in the process!) then going back to the diet again. I eventually had hypertension whenever I would start a round. It doesn't happen gradually, either. Within the first day, my blood pressure shoot up to around 155/95. Not fun. I immediately got off of it of course. The last time I attempted a round was last August (ReliableRx again) with the same results. This time, I switched to the Fertigyn brand to determine if it was an issue with the brand. I used to use Ovidac.

I'm not sure what the issue is. I'm not sure if the overseas brands caused the hypertension, or if my body has built a resistance to it. Admittedly, I did longer rounds than recommended a few times and didn't take the recommended time off between round, either. It's been about 7 months since I last tried a round, but this time I'm definitely going to buy from NuImage again.

    Any advice?

Sorry to hear that you are struggling!

Sounds to me that a number of aspects come into play. I don’t actually think overseas hcg is any less potent or good. India and China are markets way bigger than the US or Europe, they have pharma industries - hcg itself is not expensive, not even the official kind in Germany, where it is prescribed for fertility treatments, or when sold with regards to body builders... it only gets expensive when it is call hcg diet and comes through providers peddling it that way.

When hungry, the dose is usually incorrect - that is something that should have been addressed in the round. My 4th round was horrid like that, long ago... I now took 4+ years in between rounds to even attempt it again.

I am just wondering WHY you would want to risk another round? There are no doctors in here, nobody can give you solid medical advice... but if you are reacting that harshly to hcg, don’t take it.

I would look into other ways to lose. Keto, low carb, intermittent fasting, macros, even Contrave or Saxenda... talk to your doctor, make sure there are no underlying health problems... and then choose a different way.

HCG is just one way to lose... at the end of the day, any calorie deficit will get you there eventually.

I havent seen any posts on the forum mentioning correlation between blood pressure and hcg. First question have u seen doctor about bp. Seems u must take ur own blood pressure daily to make connection which sounds like hypertension was already a factor . nu image is good but their suggested dosing is too high which will cause hunger. I know.

I since went on line to livestrong.com and they do show some studies indicating if you already have heart condition it might affect it. Please discuss

It is more likely to have a drop in blood pressure on HCG than for it to rise because of the way the hormone works in the body.

The protocol talks about it here: https://hcgdietinfo.com/hCG-Diet-Man...od-Pressure-31

The info you offered that you experienced hunger in later rounds, and did rounds longer and/or closer together than allowed could suggest that you have developed immunity to the HCG. Especially if you were taking the high doses that NuImage recommends. You may need to seek out another way to lose weight now.

Please note that any suggestions I make are based on the Original Protocol.

My recent HCG round was with DietDoc. Our site owner has generously arranged for me to earn a small fee if you use my DietDoc or Nu Image Medical link to order your Hcg and supplies. I've tried other methods, but HCG gave me the most consistent losses.

Thankfully, I don't have a heart condition. My doctor is aware of my HCG use though, but he didn't have any answers for me.

With NuImage, I didn't use their dosage. I followed the instructions on this site instead. Immunity is what it seems like. How long does it typically take for the immunity to go away? It's been about 7 months.

If you decide to try HCG again and have hunger, please ask for help. We can guide you through dose adjustment so that the HCG is working properly and effectively for you. If you do the protocol while hungry the whole time, you lose the wrong kind of fat and even muscle. This makes stabilization difficult or impossible, and can set you up for immunity.

Leez is absolutely right. I just finished my 4th P2 in 5 years, and in the last two rounds my blood pressure would plummet to much lower than normal. One day a few weeks ago it was 92/70. That is extremely low for me when mine usually runs in the 120-124/70-75 range. I could tell it was abnormally low because I felt dizzy and as if I was going to faint, so I sat down for a bit and took a tsp. of sea salt and also made sure I added extra salt to my lobster tail that day. It then went back up to normal about an hour or two later, as it always does once the hcg is out of my system.

I decided to go through with trying another round. If it fails, is there an exchange section here where I can sell my unused vial? I'm getting 10,000iu total, two vials.

Since HCG is only available by prescription, there are no provisions for exchanges on this forum.

Immunity can resolve in many cases. Usually you can start again after a year. And the HCG is good for years after the expiration date. Seven months could be enough time. There is just no way to know.
