lower back pain during and after HCG (Kidney?)

    Hi everyone,
I first noticed this dull ache/pain in my right lower back in P2 day 36. But I initially thought I was ovulating. I felt it in my right pelvic area and back area. But after a day or so it was gone. I thought nothing of it. It returned again 4 dAYS ago and I am in P3 now. So I have a doctor's appointment tommorrow morning. It is intermittent, coming and going but I am never fully without the pain. its NOT unbearable, more of annoying. I have no other symptoms associated with it. All I have noticed is that its wose later in the day and better in the mornings. I drink enough water 3.5L, I am not sure what it could be. Anyone ever experience this? I don't think its a stone because the pain is NOt intense at all. Just nagging. HELP? Thanks

I experienced the same but a little higher, right below the back, right ribs. It would last 30-60 seconds and knock the wind out of me. Rubbing it didn't work and during the attack the only thing I could do was hold where the pain came from. It started my 2nd week of phase 2 and lasted off and on for a few days but was around the time of TOM. After TOM it went away and I haven't had it again but TOM should visit again next week. Let me know if you find anything out and hope you get better!

Sometimes it is fat loss in the muscles, so the muscles have slack in them until they shorten back (they were kind of extended from the fat entertwined with them), so as the fat leaves they aren't as supported and can strain more easily. Not sure if the way I explained that correctly, hope you get the jist of it, any way seems like that was what mine was. Hope your's is nothing more.

    Thanks Turtle and Jess,
I saw my primary doctor today and she basically gave the same reason that Trutle said, but she did draw a ton of labs and has scheduled me for a pelvic sonogram just incase. I also have lots of labs and will see the results of the lab draws.

    Jess,
Have you seen a doctor yet fo the pain? Mine is not as painful but its nagging. I took some flexiril yesterday which is a muscle relaxant and it went away. Its back today though. I will let you know what the lab tests, sonogram and echo show. hang in there. I am sure that it is probably gone for good.

    Thanks Turtle and Didi,
It did feel more like muscle pain and it really only lasted off and on for about a week. It was random but hasn't really returned and its been 2-3 weeks. Didi, I hope all the labs come back with no issues.

I was having some lower back and abdominal muscle spasms last week. Kind of pulsating and occasionally intense. I've been going to Bikram yoga ever since and they went away. Might be something to look into, even if all you do is regular yoga.
Phase 2 ended 6/19/11 with a loss of 20 pounds!!

    Hi Angela,
i will deifinitely consider yoga. I went running yesterday and found that the pain got worse today and radiates down my leg. I woder if it is my muscles being sore. its so weird how sensations and pains feel different to me after HCg. Plus i believe it is muscular due to the pains hurting after exercise. As a matter of fact I realized that the pains first started after exercise 4 days ago. I am not sure about P2 though because i rarely exercised. But thanks for the suggestion.

    Jess,
thanks, I hope so too. Staying positive. But since my pain is relieved by a muscle relaxant, I want to say I think it is muscular pain. Like my doctor said, Maybe I feel things more because "I ve lost all the extra padding" LOL
