Thread: PMS and BAD attitude! Cant handle it

  1. #13
This past week has been horrible ... Very depressed and anxious feeling terrible to the point of not being able to eat.. As I forced myself to have my lunch meal salad and protein I began to gag as I put the food in my mouth and had to stop. I've been drinking a lot of water. So depressed I begin to cry and don't have the strength to even get dressed or go to work. I did some research online and found that depression is one of the side affects with HCG. Also the fact that I have had a hysterectomy and have no hormones this injection has now brought into my system a huge amount of hormones. I had to contact my doctor and she immediately told me to stop the injections. This is not good and I wanted to share with all of you in case there is someone out there who is going through the same...

How old are you, and have you had your progesterone or estrogen levels checked? I envy women who get to use TOM as an excuse for their moods and attitudes. From the time I was a teenager, that never worked for me. I was always told "your not the only woman in the world who has or will have this problem, so suck it up and get on with your life", and heaven help me if I even tried to shed a tear during that time. Everyone from my parents to guys I dated could care less about TOM, and could care less if it affected my moods or attitudes.

Do you still have your ovaries after the hysterectomy? If so, you still need to get your hormone levels checked to determine if you have an imbalance. I had a hysterectomy 20 years ago, but still have my ovaries. I was found to be estrogen dominant, and needed to have natural progesterone in order to balance out my hormone levels. I felt great on hcg (almost giddy), and lost easily while still taking progesterone in all three of my rounds with no issues.

I know this thread is a year old but had a question for anyone. This is my first time on HCG and I have been on it for about 13 days TOM is due any time soon. I am under HCG rx at a set dose but I am hungry more frequently and with a vengeance, which is not normal. HCG has actually helped my mood swings it's very little and controlled. What do you do with the hunger do you eat more protein? More frequently? I just want to get rid of the hunger until it shows up then I have the opposite problem of not wanting to eat at all. Has anyone heard of vitabese to control hunger?

What dose are you taking? It's not uncommon to have to lower your dose in the middle of a round. Hunger is usually a dose too high.

Sorry for the delay I am getting used to this. I had just talked to my coach. I'm not eating enough vegetables. I started eating more veggies and not my hunger has subsided. I'm eating a lot of protein just not a lot of veggies.
