32 y.o. guy, started last week, my treatment has something called AOD, any feedback?

    Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and diets in general. I'm a 32 y.o guy, 5ft9, and started at 200 lb. I used to be fit and work out 10 years ago, but not anymore.

The program I am following has a 1 week clean eating phase (I guess phase 0), then what seems to be the normal phases (phase 1 where you load and then phase 2 with VLCD).

It also includes some supplements I take 3 times a day, I can post details here if it's relevant, and an injection of something called AOD in the evenings.

I skipped the clean eating phase because I put off starting the diet for too long after ordering my HCG and didn't want it to expire. So basically I went straight to the 'loading' phase (but after reading here, it looks like that's the normal way).

So far I've lost 8lbs in 6-7 days so it's working as expected, no hunger etc...

    I hope that's enough context.

Anyway, I tried to search the forum for info on AOD, but I couldn't find any.

Is there anyone here who has done a program that also has AOD?

The doctor is recognised and a sports trainer/scientist though, so I will do what he says, but really curious about whether anyone here has used it and what effect/benefits it had.

So, if anyone has any experience with AOD, can you let me know what you think? 🙏

The following is from promotional materials:
AOD is a modified fragment of human growth hormone (HGH). The injection helps stimulate the pituitary gland similarly to HGH and other growth hormones, in an effort to speed up the metabolism, and help increase weight loss results. AOD promoted lipolysis in obese fat cells but not normal fat cells.
From the couple notes I read on it, there isn't conclusive evidence that it actually works.

Since HCG is a hormone protocol, its action might be affected negatively by adding other hormones. First week losses usually range between 7-11 pounds, so it seems you are on track with that.

Often lipotropic injections are combined with the HCG protocol, but those are amino acids, not hormones. Yours is the first program I've run across that adds AOD. I'll be interested in any other reports made in response to your question.

I guess I'll update the thread anyway in case someone gets here in similar situation in the future.

Just finishing 3rd week now, and weight loss has been 17-19 pounds. I'm stoked. I stalled twice, one I didn't do anything (weight didn't drop, but fat % kept dropping) and the other one I did an apple day and it fixed it immediately.

I have another 3 weeks left. I expect it to be easier for me since I know what to expect and how it goes, but also expect to lose slower as I get closer to my target.

I think I'll have leftover HCG after the 6 weeks, can I just do it an extra week?

40 doses is the maximum for a round. If you go longer, you risk triggering immunity. Which would mean it could be a year before you could use this diet again. And some people never recover from immunity. So its a risk to go longer.

Congrats on your great progress. It looks like the AOD hasn't caused you any issues at the very least.
