    Question I need some advice!!

Hi everyone. So Im concerned I've hit a stall or plateau. I am on 12th Day of HCG injections, so Im in Phase 2 and this is my 4th morning waking up at the same weight.

    Day 1 -- 155lbs
    Days 9-12 -- 144.6lbs

I felt really good about losing 10.4lbs in the first 9 days, but I've been stuck here since! Im getting paranoid that Im doing something wrong, but I have not cheated once and am really careful about getting oil on my skin in any way. I know I need to drink more water. Not sure what else to do. My goal weight was 130 (altho i should be 125, but im only doing the 26day HCG) and Im worried I won't get there.
What do you all think? Should I do an apple day? Is it okay for me to start working out again? If there's a chance (and there is) that Im not eating enough would that cause my stall?

    Thank you for reading!

First, RELAX - you are in the customary timeframe for a slow down - you're doing great! Do NOT rush to an apple day! Stay on protocol, drink your water, and your losses will pick back up.

Too many rush to do an apple day, then regain every bit they lost within a couple days. Your body is simply replacing the fat lost with temporary water weight. If you take your measurements, you'll find you are STILL loosing inches! Hold on, have faith, your losses will continue. This is NORMAL.

I thought an apple day was supposed to be done after 4 days of not losing. If not, when do you know when to do an apple day?

@Bluetech... Thank You!!! I have a friend who has done this successfully and told me to do an apple day, she had to do several throughout her 40 days -she did it longer- but I read a few people's posts in this site and I feel better about just sticking to protocol and crossing my fingers that I'll be lighter tomorrow lol
    Thank You Thank You!!

Alice, if you read Pounds and Inches, Dr. S says the apple day is mainly for psychological reasons - it CAN be very discouraging to work so hard, and not have the immediate gratification of losses. HOWEVER, that does not mean you automatically do an apple day as soon as you hit four days with no losses. Apple days have totally backfired for a lot of folks. Your body is going to do whatever your body is going to do - even doing an apple day doesn't guarantee the stall will break, or that you won't just go right into another. Many are far better off sticking to protocol and riding it out. Stalls are absolutely normal on this protocal, and there's really nothing you're going to do to avoid or prevent them.

Ltd good luck!! If it helps any, this round so far I've had two stalls each about a week long. Round 1 my stall occurred in the third week, and last that entire week. I still lost 35.2# in a total of thirty days, though. Stick to protocol, and your losses will resume

I see! So, here's another question for you...after a stall ends, do you continue to lose about the same as you were before, or do you notice a bigger loss right after it? I want to know what to expect when it happens to me!

    Thanks!

I can only go by my experience, but the first day the stall broke, I lost anywhere from 1.6# - 2.2#. Then the weight loss averaged out to about .5# or so. Please remember, most loose very rapidly the first week. Thereafter, a womans loss averages .5 - .75# per day for the duration of the round. I found, too, if I had a "spurt" where I lost pretty good that week, the next week would be slower or another stall - but it seemed to all average out fine for me.

You're both very welcome! I have two injections left before heading into P3 - I can hardly wait!! I've been so impressed with hCG, and how well my body has reponded to it. You'll find as you progress through the protocol, you learn SO much about your habits, your true needs, and what you need to do to succeed.

Above all else, listen to your body. Everyone is different, and everyone will respond in different ways to the foods, drinks, combinations, and protocol. The first round, keep it simple - follow Pounds and Inches, it will work! If you decide on a second round and feel you want to tweak or experiment, then at least you have the first hand knowledge of how protocol worked for you.

    Good luck!!
