    Chorulon HCG for animal use?

I have been contemplating doing a round of HCG. I have done rounds in the past. But it has been a few years. In the past I purchased freeze dried and mixed myself. Had good results, too. While looking for current sources I stumbled onto an animal use site selling what seems to be human use product. The data sheets state "chorionic gonadotropin (human Chorionic Gonadotropin or hCG) for intramuscular administration after reconstitution." The vials are 10k IU of freeze dried Chorulon HCG.

QUESTION: Is anyone aware of a difference between human and animal product?

    Thanks in advance

Did a little research for you, but verify for your own information.

HCG is used to control animal ovulation, and there is also an ECG (equine chorionic gonadotropin), so it is the human type if it lists human chorionic gonadotropin.
CHORULON® is a freeze-dried preparation of chorionic gonadotropin (human Chorionic Gonadotropin or hCG) for intramuscular administration after reconstitution. When reconstituted with the accompanying sterile diluent, each 10 mL vial contains 10,000 I.U. chorionic gonadotropin (equivalent to 10,000 USP Units chorionic gonadotropin) and 10 mg mannitol, with mono- and disodium phosphate to adjust the pH of the solution.
I checked the packaging of a brand of HCG called Odivac that has been successfully used in the past on these forums, and it did contain manitol in the ingredients list along with sodium hydroxide and dextran-40. So it seems standard to have some excipient ingredients.

Some body builders use the Chorulon brand and think its ok, but I'm not sure I'd trust that as a go ahead that its safe. Some of those guys inject themselves with all kinds of suspect substances.

You're seeing the same as I am. Time to contemplate. Compared to the **** I shoved in my body, during college, thus seems mild.

It may come down to your comfort level in the end. We've sent people to vets to find supplies like bacteriostatic water, but to my knowledge not for actual HCG. I'll be interested to see if anyone else responds to this topic with more information.

    LOL!
Sorry. I don’t have any knowledge to be helpful on this topic, but I had to laugh!

I'm using Ovidac in my current round, no issues that I can tell of. Tempted to tell a farm joke here, but I'd just be horsing around :-)
