Day 1 of loading......need pals! anyone loading needing a buddy?

Hi all, new to forum and started loading today. Very apprehensive about the process. Never needed to lose weight before but I just turned 50 and slowly gained about 20lbs. the last 7 years or so. I'm fairly active and worried about not being able to play tennis, weight train etc........I'm looking for a few buddies to motivation and mental strength!!!

Good morning. I am loading today as well. I have 25 pounds to lose. I do the RX and plan on a long round. Close to 33 days or so.

From my little experience, many just carry on doing their exercises their bodies are used to. However, you may find this not to be your case. Some have one more protein serving after the exercise. Time will tell what you can continue while you shed the weight.

I will load for 2 days

    Here we go!

Day #2 of loading for me. I have 20 lbs. to lose as well. I thought it would be fun to eat anything I wanted but I just wasn't that hungry yesterday. My nurse said it was very important to load well so I'm going to attempt to eat more today.

    Day 2 of loading

How did everyone do yesterday? I was very intentional with eating high fat, low carb. However I did have some home made french fries. My DH made us a ribe eye and sauteed up brussel sprouts/mushrooms in a lot of butter. Plus a generous amount of red wine and ice cream. So there ya go. A very high fat load!

This morning I am having coffee with cream and coconut oil. I will finish the steak and add blue cheese. Maybe some cheese/deli meat and finish off the ice cream.

Lets talk about preparing for our first week!

Have you all read Colleen's blog? I love how she spells this out! I am following her advise since she posts here so much and really cares about us. http://colleencoble.com/2014/colleen.../hcg-protocol/

Today I am defrosting some hamburger meat, dusting off my scale and will bag up raw meat for the week and slice up veggies. Mostly I will do raw veggies. I love cabbage but its going to be so hot here, I will stick to cold stuff for the most part.

Apples: I need to go buy a "medium" apple. The largest is just way too big!

Water goal: 100 ounces. I may mix strawberries and lemons and cucumbers to have some "spa water". I may go to Walmart and get flavored water too.

So this is very valuable: Know what your hunger means. Read her blog. We will be some what hungry for 3 days but there after, morning hunger and evening hunger means our doses is off.

I am doing .150 to start with!

I am also going to continue to exercise.

What will your first meal on the low calorie be? And it is not recommended we eat the same protein twice. - Unless that changed?

OK all. Lets have a day of intentional care for ourselves!!

Hello, well I just did you blood work! And have to load this weekend ....I am a gastric bypass patient and only have a small pouch. But I have not been able to loose the last 55 lbs to have my skin removed....so I searched for help. I believe this will lower my BMI so the surgeon can remove that unwanted skin! Is there any one else out there that did this after gastric bypass surgery?

    Neecia,
if you do a search here at this site, search "gastric bypass". I did see several threads of info,.Not sure how old they are.

One thread I read very fast said to make sure you take your supplements as well. So that sounded like good advice.

    Excited to have you here!!

I'm starting tomorrow. I'm reading conflicting reports that you should load for 2 days, or 3 days. Not sure which one to follow :/

Thanks for the website and info Bella Donna. I bought my chicken yesterday from Fresh Market and cut/weighed/froze it in individual bags of 3.5 oz. I'm headed to buy the veggies today. My doctor has me loading for 3 days so today is loading number 3 for me. I've struggled with the high fat as I'm not used to eating those types of foods. But, I've been trying and plan to hit the fat hard today. I like the word/idea of being very INTENTIONAL. I've been reading articles and they have said that staying on the straight and narrow is the best way.....so, I'm not going to take any chances with add ons etc.....I need to lose 29-25 lbs. and I want this to be one and done!!!! The info I was given said an apple serving is 4 oz....so, I plan to weigh my apples so as not to over do them. Another thing I was told that differs from my research is that they told me to attempt to stay away from beef........their clients tend to not do as well while eating beef. I asked why and they said it was more "dense" and didn't digest as quickly as chicken/fish. (Hmmm......?). So, I'm undecided on that one. I wish I could start Phase 2 today. I feel ready and prepared!! But, I'm going to follow my clinics protocol and load 3 days. They recommend a 3 day load for some reason. Let us know how the day goes. GOOD LUCK.!!! We are going to DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!

My clinic loads for 3 days. I'm on day 3......I'm ready to start though!! I hate eating all the fat but I'm going to post my best fat day yet today and start the Phase 2 tomorrow. Keep posting, there are a few of us on here that starting Phase 2 within a day of each other.

Hi friends. Day one for low calorie today.

Kmac, yes, some do a 3 day load. And i agree if you are not used to eating high fats. As far as beef goes, i do well with it usually if my other protein is fish or even the random egg. And we have almost the same amount of weight to lose. My INTENTIONAL goal is to not go off the plan either. Today I am focusing ion trying to filluip on liquids till 2:00 - see how I do. I have white fish and some fresh tomato. Will use spices and water.

    Mishethecat, welcome!

Off to get my power walk on. I was going to go to the gym but I did not sleep well so hubby left with out me! haha

WATER: How to get 100 ounces? I have a cup that is about 33. So I will put 4 rubber bands on it. Each time I finish a cup, i will remove the band. This will mark my intake for now.

I am going to continue to do .150 - see how I do.
