    Unhappy So Discouraged----New To HCG---Can I turn a week of no weight loss around?

    So I just weighed in after my first week on HCG and I didn't lose any weight. I am so discouraged I came home and ate 7 baked chips and then of course immediately felt guilty so I decided to search my friend google to find some support!! I have read tons of posts and I made a lot of mistakes the 1st week and I am wondering if I can come back from it.

    Mistake #1: I did not load properly. I ate a few days before I started by injections but not really because it was so hard. I have been watching my weight for so long it was very difficult for me to just binge.

    Mistake #2: I haven't been measuring my proteins and I haven't been sticking exactly to the diet. So I will eat the right foods but not necessarily in the right order.

    Mistake #3: Little cheats will sabotage my progress and obviously that is truth because I lost no weight.

    Mistake #4: I haven't been drinking enough water. I have trouble drinking water but now I am still only drinking 2 16.9oz bottles.

    I feel like I might as well be honest because I am not fooling anyone but myself. My question is can I come back from the 1st week? Everyone is like I lost like 500lbs the 1st week and I am like really? I am so disappointed in myself.

    You'll be ok, I promise. The thing I can tell you about my two rounds with this; so much is about water. The hcg is releasing the bad fat into your blood stream and you have to wash it out. I drink water even when I really, really don't want to. When I have another beverage going I still have a bottle of water going. If I drink about 5 bottles of water a day (the kind you buy in the case, the cheap stuff) I will lose the next day. Follow protocol. Dr. Simeon said you didn't have to eat your day's allotment split evenly, just get it in. You-will-be-ok, I mean it. And you message me anytime. I've needed tremendous emotional support at times in this journey and I am more than willing to support you, be a cheerleader, a shoulder to cry on and a sounding board for your vents. We'll all get there together. That's the biggest goal of these forums.

    You are right that you did not load correctly. Injections start on the first loading day.

    If you can manage 4 of those bottles instead of 2, you will be drinking enough.

    You can't recover the ground you forfeited from the first week, but you can start losing immediately if you get on track and save the rest of your round.

    Please review the protocol menu for the correct food list. There is a link in the top blue menu bar: Original protocol. I think the menu is on page 44.

    You don't have to eat the two meals the way they are listed in the protocol. You can break them up into more than 2 meals. The only thing you can't do is have both items of the same kind at one meal.
