Thread: What is the best dosage for HCG?

Cool What is the best dosage for HCG?

I've read probably hundreds of blogs, forums and I am so confused about just how much to actually inject, let alone the math to do figure everything out. On the website where I bought the HCJ, it suggests 17 units (I only know by the amount on the syringe). I've also read some people take more to curb hunger and to lose quicker. I had an issue with hunger my 8th day in and so the next day, we upped it to 25 units and I was fine! I even lost 3 lbs. after being stalled. So, what is the deal? If we have more to lose and bigger like my husband is 100 lbs more than I am, should he take more HCG? How do you get the right dosage for you and your goal?

Most people do well on a dose of 150iu. It doesn't matter what size, age, gender or poundage you are.

Some people will need more or less to be in their "sweet spot".

You get the right dose by starting with something sane, and then adjusting if you have unignorable hunger or poor losses. The way you adjust is to skip a day, and then based on your hunger levels in the late afternoon, you change your dose the next day. Up if hunger increases, down if hunger goes away. Normally, you would increase or decrease by steps of 25iu.

Here is a formula you can use to figure the dose for any way the solution is mixed. Did you mix your own? If so, what were the proportions and we can help you figure out what you are taking.

Thank you, this helps a lot. I think by just the last few days of exploring we have found the "sweet spot" for now, hopefully, the losing will continue. We have our nephew's wedding coming up at the end of the month and those pictures will last a while! We won't reach our goals by then but at least we'll be on our way.
This is what we were instructed from the site we bought the HCG shots:
    5,000 IU Vials
Withdraw 5ml (Per 5,000 IU Vial) of the Bacteriostatic water from the bottle and insert it into the vial of HCG powder, slowly.

So according to you mixture, which is pretty standard for clinics/suppliers, you were taking a dose of 170iu.

For future mixing, I would encourage you to mix that amount of HCG with twice the amount of water. It makes it easier to adjust accurately if you have to change doses, and some think it helps the HCG disperse in the tissues more effectively.

Usually, hunger problems are caused by a dose too high, but not always. In your case it looks like you adjusted in the right direction. I'm glad you are comfortable again and on your way.
