Thread: Shall I do drops or shots?

Shall I do drops or shots?

    Hello everyone!.. =)

I'm new to this HCG stuff so I'm dropping by the forums to check out the pros and cons based on actual users' experiences before actually jumping on the bandwagon. I was able to encounter HCG while browsing for ways to lose weight. This type of losing weight seems interesting. However, I'd like to have as much bases covered before I actually go for it. I'm currently torn between drops and injections. I've read an article saying that injections are more effective than drops because drops mere likely dissolve before even reaching the bloodstream. On the other hand, well injections are a bit scary for me. Unfortunately, I have a low pain treshold. But I would still like to get the most benefit out of HCG. Should I skip the pain and go for the drops? Or would it be more worthwhile to just bear with the pain of injections?

    Hey there Himeluna,
This seems a bit spammy since it's cross posted in so many places, BUT welcome to HCG! I've never tried drops but the injections are definitely not painful at all. It's actually really easy and super convenient since you only have to do it once a day.
Hope that helps and best of luck!

People get good results from either oral or injected HCG, and also from homeopathic hcg.

Injections are the only method where HCG will show up in a blood test, and is the method used by the originator of the protocol. Subcutaneous injections are intimidating, but they are not painful. Once you get past the first one, you'll wonder why they were so scary.

How about the rate on how fast the loss of weight occurs?.. is it the same for both injectables and oral?..

It can depend on the person, but basically, its the same. There can be a bit more issues with low level hunger with the homeopathic drops, but on the whole it is all comparable, even with homeopathic.

If you decide on homeopathic, do not chose any that contain a hunger suppressant ingredient, as masking hunger can prevent you from getting your dose right. RX drops seem to be as effective at keeping hunger away as injections. It is just less convenient, because you have to dose twice a day and wait a while before you can eat afterwards.

Hmm.. It would appear that injectables would be my best option. I have a hectic schedule at work. And we get to have our meals only if we could find a window in time to cram it in. So, I guess the waiting before eating would be a problem.
Thank you for the insights Leez.

Yes, injectables is "one and done". You can familiarize yourself with the process on youtube videos so you can be confident you are doing it correctly.

My best injection tip is to touch the needle to your skin, and if you feel a prick of pain, move over to another spot until you don't feel that. Even a quarter inch can be enough. This makes injecting comfortable, and also prevents injection site bruises. Once I started doing it that way, I never got another bruise.
