Question Anyone following protocol under direction of a physician?

I really feel like I want to be going through a doctor and to be monitored as it would make me feel much more secure. I was wondering if anyone was under a doctor's care, how did you get your doctor to prescribe this diet for you, and did you get it covered under insurance? Any tips on how to find a doctor to prescribe this?

When I was in Miami I started but gave up because I was in the process of relocating. You probably will have to go the old google route. I real quick googled: hcg doctor san jose, easy peasy a number of options came up.

There are "medi-spas" all over in cities in Canada which will monitor/support you through the program... But upwards of $1000 for 21 day cycle.... My gf had hers covered by her benefits program via work... I spoke to my doctor about just prescribing it to me to allow me to complete a regime but she said she wasn't comfortable doing that for me. So: doctors at the medispa swill do it--- for a cost... But GP wouldn't.....

I found a weight loss doctor in my city. So, theoreticly I am under a doctors supervision. However, I don't know how helpful I am finding her, because I am not getting much support or guidance dealing with the toughest parts of the protocol (cravings and intense hunger mostly). I feel that in the last few days, though I cheated yesterday, I have gotten more support and guidance here. I feel that this is mostly because the clinic I go to is more about getting people in and out to make a profit, than focusing on each individuals needs. It was kind of worth it to me to start with a doctor to make sure I received the correct medication and dose (though consesus here is that my dose is too high), but I don't feel that the doctor has been near as helpful while going through this protocal as I'd hoped, or need. I'll keep going, as I've paid for the program, but I don't know that I am any better off, or will be more successful, than people who do it on their own with the support and collective knowledge of this group. Good luck in your journeys! You will find some great advice and people on this forum. I only wish I had found it a few days sooner and maybe I wouldn't have cheated yesterday.

So, it would be over $1000 if I were to go through a "clinic". Which sucks. Nevermind!

Several of my local weight loss centers offer hcg. They have doctors on staff to prescribe. I too, felt more comfortable doing this with a doctor, or at least getting my hcg from one. I have a cosmetic surgeon who is very well trained in it, and I go to her. I follow the Clean Start Weight Loss Program. I found this one near you but I am sure there are more. With that said you will find more information on this site that with any clinic or doctor. Good Luck. This is my first time and I have lost 6.5 pounds in a week.

I just actually called and scheduled an appointment with that clinic for tomorrow! Thank you so much. I googled and called a number of other clinics and they were all so expensive. The one you linked me to seemed a lot more reasonable. Thanks again! I hope it goes well at the consultation tomorrow!
