    Fruits

Hi all... I had a question about fruits. I do not eat the fruit or breadstick which leaves me with extra calories to consume...I am sure this has been addressed several times but couldn't find anything. Should I eat more extra lean protein or vegetables?
Also does anyone know roughly how many shots of 175iu will be in a 6000iu vial? Thanks for any help

You can increase your vegetable serving to add some calories. Use the ones that have higher calories per ounce, like onions. The protocol seems to work with either the 3.6 oz protein serving or a 4 oz serving. You can eek a few more calories out from your protein by using the 4 oz portion size. Don't forget that your allowed milk and lemon have some calories that help make up your total.

To figure out how many doses you have, divide the IU's of HCG by your dose:

    6000 divided by 175 =34 doses

Thank you Leez... I decided I may want to add back in the fruit. It's on protocol and I don't think it 'triggers' my sweet craving.

I think that is a good decision. The protocol is not about avoiding carbs or even fruit sugar.

Fruit easily accounts for a good portion of your 500 calories.

Sometimes I wonder if trying to make things sweet in P2 (with sweeteners) could be what is the real trigger.

If you are avoiding the melba/breadstick because of gluten, you can try taking your starch as a GF cracker with the same macros (20 calories, no fat) LePain has some nice ones.
